Muju Soinaru Park

Today, we're heading to Muju Soinaru Park, a great place for a light stroll near Muju town, as introduced by our SNS supporter, 'Bomppa'!

Soinaru Park Location:

Address: 1584-17, Daecha-ri, Muju-eup, Muju-gun, Jeollabuk-do

It's about a 5-minute drive from Muju-eup, or about 4km along the Namdaecheon riverside path – a very accessible distance.

Barefoot Walking on Hwangto (Red Clay) Path

When you think of Soinaru Park, the first thing that comes to mind is the newly created Hwangto barefoot walking path!

The path is well-maintained along the park's perimeter, and there are shelters like pavilions along the way, perfect for taking a break.

With autumn arriving, many fallen leaves on the ground add to the joy of walking.

Be mindful of occasional branches on the path.

A Great Place for Family Outings / Space for Children

Inside the park, there's a path ideal for children to ride bicycles or scooters!

It's safe because there are no cars, and the path is well-maintained, giving parents peace of mind.

There's also a grass plaza and table area, making it perfect for families to enjoy a weekend picnic together!

The artificial turf in the center is used as a park golf course by senior citizens, but personally, I think it would be even better if there were a water park or playground for children!

Improving Facilities

Currently, some sections are under construction, and it seems like they are building a roof so people can walk even on rainy days.

Near the entrance, there are shoe racks, foot washing areas, and even tables, so it would be nice to enjoy a cup of tea after a walk!

The Hwangto path also has gravel sections, providing a great acupressure effect, and thanks to the shade of the large trees, you can enjoy a walk without getting too hot even in summer!
