Located at 107 Simumyonggok-ro, Anyang-myeon, Jangheung-gun, Jeollanam-do, Jangheung Scallop Village is appealing because of its proximity to the sea, allowing you to enjoy various seafood dishes. Among them, scallops are well-known as a representative specialty of Jangheung.

Moreover, Jangheung, where beautiful nature coexists, is recognized for its value as a tidal flat conservation zone in the southwestern coast of Jeollanam-do.

You can taste scallops anywhere in the coastal village, but Jangheung Scallop Village is especially famous for its many scallop restaurants.

The reason is that scallops grown in Jangheung are larger than those in other regions and are rich in nutrients, so you can feel a clear difference in taste and quality!

Every year in early May, the Jeongnamjin Jangheung Scallop Festival is held.

There are many diverse experiences and you can buy plump and delicious scallops cheaply on site, making it a festival you don't want to miss!
