Chuncheon China (Affordable Price Restaurant)

Recently, I visited Chuncheon China, located near the Hongseong courthouse, with a friend for a late lunch. This place is a local favorite for Chinese food that I often frequent.

The restaurant has a dedicated parking lot, making it convenient for those who drive. This is an important aspect for car users, as it allows for easy access without worrying about parking.

▲ Interior of Chuncheon China ▲

The interior of the restaurant is quite spacious and well-maintained. The seating consists of tables that allow for comfortable dining, and there's a separate area that would be great for group gatherings or family meals.

Chuncheon China is not just your average neighborhood Chinese restaurant; it has been featured on various broadcasts such as KBS's 6 O'Clock News and SBS's Today Chungcheong. Additionally, it has been recognized by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety as an Affordable Price Restaurant and certified as a Safe Restaurant by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, making it a trustworthy place to visit.

▲ Ordering at Chuncheon China ▲

The ordering process at Chuncheon China is convenient, as you can easily place your order using the tablets provided at each table.

▲ Basic Side Dishes at Chuncheon China ▲

The basic side dishes include pickled radish, Jajang (black bean sauce), kimchi, onions, and more. Any additional side dishes can be obtained from the self-service corner.

What impressed me was that even though it was a self-service corner, the staff would assist in providing the necessary side dishes, making it feel more hygienic and friendly.

▲ Table at Chuncheon China ▲

Each table was equipped with chili powder, soy sauce, and vinegar, allowing diners to adjust the seasoning to their liking.

After a short wait, the Seafood Fried Rice finally arrived! It was generously served, and the accompanying Jjamppong soup was not just any broth; it was rich with seafood, meat, and vegetables.

Taking a sip, I found the broth to be flavorful and spicy, pairing wonderfully with the fried rice. My friend and I, both good eaters, kept remarking on how large the portion was, but it was so delicious that we finished it all!

Adding a sprinkle of chili powder enhanced the umami flavor even more!

The food was not only tasty, but the portions were generous, and the staff was friendly. The restaurant was also well-maintained, resulting in a high level of satisfaction overall. Above all, as an Affordable Price Restaurant and a Safe Restaurant, it’s a reliable place regarding price, taste, and hygiene. If you're looking for a Chinese restaurant in Hongseong, I highly recommend visiting Chuncheon China!
