Please note that the filming date and posting date may differ, so the autumn foliage scenery may not be the same as the current conditions.

Jincheon boasts numerous autumn foliage attractions, but today, I'd like to introduce Gilsangsa Temple and Baekgokcheon Stream, famous for their ginkgo tree paths. Gilsangsa Temple and Baekgokcheon Stream are close to each other, making them ideal to visit together, and the distance isn't long, perfect for a light stroll.

The ginkgo tree path begins right from the entrance leading to Gilsangsa Temple. Fortunately, it was the peak of the foliage season, creating a truly beautiful scene. The ginkgo tree path at Gilsangsa Temple in Jincheon isn't as well-known as other places, making it ideal for those who want to enjoy a leisurely autumn stroll.

After passing through the Hongsal Gate and the ginkgo tree path, you'll arrive at Gilsangsa Temple. It's conveniently located only about 1 km from the Jincheon County Office. While it's close enough to walk from the city center, if you're driving, search for "Jincheon Gilsangsa" or "50, Gyoseong-ri, Jincheon-eup, Jincheon-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do" on your navigation system.

A large parking lot is available right next to the Hongsal Gate, making it easy to visit. There's also a small parking lot right in front of Gilsangsa Temple, but if you want to enjoy the ginkgo tree path, I recommend parking near the entrance.

When I visited, the foliage hadn't fully turned, and there were still patches of green, but it was still beautiful. This year, the foliage is late, so if you visit in mid-November, you can enjoy a stroll along the beautiful golden ginkgo tree path.

During my visit, I often saw people walking their dogs, but be careful as it's a road with passing cars.

Arriving at Gilsangsa Temple after passing through the ginkgo tree path, I noticed that repair and maintenance work on the restrooms, ancestral hall, and disaster prevention room was underway until December. While construction is in progress, you can still go up to Heungmujeon, which houses the portrait of General Kim Yu-sin, but please note that it closes late.

The ginkgo tree path at Gilsangsa Temple had many fallen leaves at the front, but as you go further up, the foliage wasn't as developed, so there weren't as many leaves on the ground.

After a short walk on the ginkgo tree path at Gilsangsa Temple, I headed to the Baekgokcheon Stream ginkgo tree path located nearby.

The Baekgokcheon Stream ginkgo tree path is located near the entrance to the Jincheon Bell Museum and Saenggeo Printmaking Museum parking lot. It's easy to visit with well-maintained parking, and there's also a history-themed park, so I saw many people who came for a stroll. If you're driving, search for "Jincheon Bell Museum Parking Lot" or "Jincheon History Theme Park" on your navigation system.

I visited during sunset, and the foliage wasn't as developed towards the back here either. If you walk along the Baekgokcheon riverside walking path created below the ginkgo tree path, you can also walk along a path of tall poplar trees.

Autumn is always short, and I always feel a sense of regret every year, but the ginkgo tree paths at Gilsangsa Temple and Baekgokcheon Stream in Jincheon were able to alleviate that feeling to some extent. If you're still worried about not having enjoyed the autumn foliage this year, come visit Jincheon.
