A Trip to Sosimhan Bookstore and a Jeju Mishap

Planning a route to the east side of Jeju Island to visit Sosimhan Bookstore.
It might seem like an odd choice for me, but I love going to bookstores, so this was the moment I was most looking forward to.
I had read that the journey there was difficult, and now that I've been, I understand what they meant.
You have to pass through these pretty stone wall paths.
So beautiful, right?
The reality is, you have to go through roads like this! Haha
Is this the right way...?
Yes, if you go that way, it's on your left!
I almost passed it, thinking I was in the wrong place, haha.
For parking, just park anywhere on the stone wall at the end of the narrow road.
On the way to the bookstore after parking.

The sky is so pretty.
But it was so hot, I felt like the top of my head was going to melt!
At first, I passed by what looked like a suspicious salt field, wondering if I was in the right place.

But then I saw 'Sosimhan Bookstore' written in pink.
Wow, 11 years!

Congratulations!
The scenery looks even prettier when viewed from inside the air-conditioned space.

It was bigger than I expected!
They had a diverse selection of books, and there were people reading alone.

It was spacious with various chairs and sofas, making it a good place to sit and quietly read.
There's also this cute space.

So charming.
I liked this book:
'I am a Fairy.'
A weather fairy.
This space was personally the prettiest.

There's also a space like a guestbook.
The sunlight, the shape of the window...
Everything is perfect.
So pretty...
They also have cute accessories.
A man in a magnifying glass.

I thought it was Sang-cheol wearing the animal t-shirt.
I wondered what this was.
I thought 'Hidden Book?' was the title of a book.
This is what it is!

Amazing.
So innovative...
Suddenly wanted to go to the bathroom, so I went.
Everyone else was leaving quickly.
I stayed the longest...
Went to the bathroom and did everything I needed to do, haha.
The bathroom is in the back of the yard.

I took a picture, wishing it was my house.
Time to go eat.
I really wanted Korean food.
So P quickly searched and found a place.
Parking is very convenient.

(With my cute Casper.)
Fried rockfish seems to be the specialty.
But since I'm alone,

I'll have grilled mackerel.
It's so peaceful and nice on a weekday.
I got a free drink by doing a receipt review, haha.
The side dishes are so neat and clean.

(I need it to be neat and clean; cleanliness is very important to me!)
Grilled mackerel has arrived.
I was surprised at how big it was.
The side dishes, seaweed soup, and mackerel are all delicious...
And the male owner is so kind!
The fish is insane.
This was a very successful find, considering I found it in a hurry.
I didn't eat much since I was alone, but
It was the most delicious place I ate in Jeju.
I cleansed my palate with hangover soup.
My last night in Jeju.
I was so tired and debating whether to just sleep,

but I just walked out and decided to have a spontaneous solo drink.
This was a mistake...
I sipped two delicious Godfathers so easily.
I still wonder what confidence I had to book an 8 AM flight.
But I thought I could make it...
Yeah... the life of an extreme 'J' (planner).
I came to Jeju alone for the first time,
and I experienced all sorts of things.
This is the first time I've ever missed something like this...........
My flight is at 8:05 AM,
and I woke up at 7:50 AM ^___^
Thinking I could make it meant I wasn't fully awake.
I called a taxi and arrived at Jeju Airport in 10 minutes.

The taxi driver couldn't go, but he didn't give up until the end.
It was like a rainbow taxi.
Thinking about it now, I'm grateful to the driver and it's so funny.
While still half asleep, I took a bottle of Hallasan soju out of my suitcase and threw it into the taxi as a gift...
(I must have thought I could take liquids on the plane since I thought I could make it...)
It was a sitcom in itself...
I arrived at 8:00 AM.

Such a fool to think I could make it...
Seeing this security line,
Oh...
I regret underestimating Jeju Airport...
What's the point of booking a cheap flight to Jeju?
When you miss it and have to rebook on the spot for 90,000 won.
This is also an experience...
Fortunately, there was one right after an hour.

So I rebooked and I'm going back to Seoul.
At that time, I was so mentally broken and tired that I just wanted to get the fastest flight to
Seoul...
My money... spent on foolish expenses.
Great... having paid the foolish expenses,

It's a perfect day to go back to Seoul.
Next time I travel to Jeju,
I will definitely come back to Seoul late in the afternoon. ^_^
The end of my summer Jeju story written in autumn.
