Taking a photo with a beehive full of tiny bees!!
It sounds like a thrilling moment, but it's safe because of the protective measures. You can see the bees working hard through a transparent acrylic panel and take pictures. Even the children's excited screams were enjoyable.

Haemildang, a rural experience in Cheongju, operates on a 100% reservation basis. We also made a reservation in advance with our children and had a great time. In addition to the honeybee experience, they also sell pizza making with honey and various honey-based beverages.

You can see the entrance by following the sign. It was a short walk from the parking lot. The building in the picture is the experience center.
It was a place that harmonized well with the autumn scenery. There were parasols and wooden benches in the yard, and a playground where children could play freely.

The parking lot is large enough to accommodate large buses. It's about 100 meters from the parking lot following the sign.
Experience Center Sketch
This is the inside of the experience center. There are two long tables with seating on both sides. As soon as you enter, the cute props decorating the walls catch your eye.
Welcome tea is also prepared for visitors. There are lemonade and coffee, so you can drink according to your preference. I needed a caffeine boost, so I had a cup of coffee first and then lemonade later, which was really delicious. It was so good that I kept drinking it, and I drank two cups. It was also popular with the kids and ran out quickly, but they refilled it right away.
Cute bears were also seen in bottles of honey. Here, they sell honey and honey-based beverages. They said they make and sell it themselves. You can easily buy it from the Naver store.
There were ripe persimmons and straw hats at the entrance. It seemed to be a hat for the experience. I thought it would be fun to take pictures wearing a hat.
Pizza Making
Listen to the instructor's explanation and experience making pizza. The table was set in advance, so each person could make one themselves.
Tomato base, cheese powder, and dough were placed on the table.
You can put toppings according to your preference. First, spread the tomato sauce evenly as a base. Then, put the toppings on top. The children were very happy to actually make their own pizza.
I put all the ingredients I had because I was greedy. I put a lot because I thought it would taste better.
While the pizza is baking, take a break and drink another delicious lemonade. I went back to my seat because another experience was about to begin.
Honeybee Experience
The experience with honeybees has begun. You can take pictures with the beehive and observe the appearance of dead honeybees through a magnifying glass.
You can see the beehive with your own eyes and observe them working hard in a space full of honey. And you could hear the sound through a stethoscope, which the children found very interesting. I was also very curious, so I listened, and the powerful sound of wings was amazing.
Honey Collection
Now it's time to collect honey. You can see the honey being extracted by putting a house full of honey into a machine and turning it.
Each person decorates a container to hold honey with stickers. If you wait, they will fill the container with honey in order.
Eating beeswax honeycomb
I was able to eat honey in beeswax. The children screamed that it was gross, but the adults were fiercely competing to eat a spoonful each. I also ate a spoonful, and maybe it's because I ate it directly on the spot, but I felt a slightly stronger scent.

It was a great rural experience to have with children. I liked the children's interest and concentration on the experience, and it was also attractive in that it was not an experience that you could easily have.
In addition, I was happy to be able to purchase delicious handmade beverages and honey at a lower price than the market price. The honey citron tea was so delicious that I bought two bottles.
