I recently visited the Dangjin Youth Town Narae in Dangjin City.
This space, operated by the city of Dangjin, is dedicated to supporting youth, offering a variety of activities including community engagement, job preparation, entrepreneurship, and content creation.
The building consists of four floors, each clearly designated for specific purposes, allowing for free use of the necessary spaces.
On the first floor, the Narae Closet and Narae General Store cater to the most practical needs of young people.
The Narae Closet offers a free rental service for suits specifically for the youth of Dangjin.
Young individuals can reserve suits for interviews or important events without the need to purchase them, providing significant support for those preparing for employment.
Rentals are available for up to four days, and any resident or youth living in Dangjin can utilize this service, making it especially beneficial for job seekers.
Next to it, the Narae General Store offers free rental of daily necessities.
This service allows young people to borrow items that are often needed but can be burdensome to purchase.
The rental period is generous, lasting six nights and seven days, making it highly useful for those living independently.
Also on the first floor are the Narae Hall and study rooms.
Narae Hall has a cozy café-like atmosphere, perfect for taking a break or having conversations, while the study rooms are designed for small group meetings or focused study sessions.
Moving to the second floor, you will find a conference hall, training rooms, Study N, and an entrepreneurship support center.
Study N is a quiet space ideal for self-directed learning, popular among young people preparing for jobs or personal development.
The overall calm atmosphere makes it a comfortable place to stay for extended periods.
The conference hall hosts lectures related to youth entrepreneurship programs, which support confidence building and employment skills enhancement.
On the third floor, there are facilities for content creation, including a video studio, recording studio, editing room, and self-studio.
With equipment for both filming and editing, this space can be a significant asset for young individuals preparing for video production or solo media activities.
Finally, on the fourth floor, there is a maker space equipped with 3D printers, laser cutters, and sewing equipment.
The Dangjin Comprehensive Job Support Center and the Dangjin Employment Welfare Center are also located here, making it accessible to various generations.
The Dangjin Youth Town Narae is not just a place that provides space; it feels like a platform connecting youth to their lives, employment, entrepreneurship, and creativity.
With many policies available for easy access when needed, it is a space that every young person in Dangjin should know about.
