Asti Hotel: Prime Location Next to Busan Station

During my 2-night, 3-day trip to Busan, I stayed at Asti Hotel on the first night.

Located right next to Busan Station, it was convenient to drop off my luggage after arriving on the KTX and head out for other activities. For those traveling by car, the hotel offers underground parking, making it relatively easy to park.

On the first floor of the hotel, there's a Starbucks, and a McDonald's is just a 2-minute walk away.

Considering the facilities and location, I made a reservation for under 100,000 KRW for a night from Friday to Saturday, which is quite reasonable.

Interestingly, I remembered that this hotel was where I stayed during a spontaneous trip to Busan a few years ago while traveling towards Namhae. I had a good experience then, which made this choice easier.

Check-in is at 3 PM, and check-out is at 11 AM. The interior looks just like a typical hotel.

Asti Hotel: Standard Double Room with City View

Having recently traveled to Japan and stayed in very small hotel rooms, I was pleasantly surprised when I entered this room. It even had a table and a sofa!

Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner were provided as standard amenities. When I opened the curtains, I was greeted with a view of Busan Station and an unexpected glimpse of the ocean!

The night view beyond Busan Station is quite nice

The morning dawn

Ta-da!

For some reason, I left the curtains open while I slept, and I could hear some noise from other rooms early in the morning, but it was brief and not bothersome.

Choosing accommodation during travel can be quite challenging. Even if the beach area doesn't have an ocean view, prices tend to be higher compared to the facilities offered.

Since I was using a car for this trip, I needed a hotel with parking. I also planned to eat at the hotel, so I booked another place in Gwangalli for one night.

In conclusion, while I was tired and it was cold in winter, making most of my travels by car was not too inconvenient.

Although there were some minor downsides to the facilities, the beautiful sea view from the lobby and the easy access to the beach for a morning stroll made it worthwhile.

If I had traveled using public transport, I would have likely sacrificed the ocean view for a cleaner, more convenient hotel.

Lastly, like most tourist areas, be aware that roads near Gwangalli Beach can get quite congested in the afternoon.

Additionally, here are a few popular restaurants nearby that are great for takeout:

1. Sinbalwon

A famous dumpling place located in Chinatown. You can order takeout right next door.

2. Samjin Eomuk

Located directly across from Asti Hotel, it offers a variety of fish cakes.

3. Lee Jaemo Pizza

Not far from the hotel, this place is known for its long queues, especially on weekends.
