A Quiet Evening Stroll to Yongchu Waterfall in Muju

A little record of a day with an evening walk.
These days, I sometimes crave quiet and peaceful nature rather than crowded and complicated places.
So one evening, before sunset, I took a light trip to Yongchu Waterfall in Anseong-myeon, Muju.
It's not a far distance, so I can go there quickly if I make up my mind, but I don't often go there.
That day, there was a slight breeze, and the sky was cloudy, but there was still some sunlight left between the clouds!
When I parked the car near the entrance of the waterfall and got out, what greeted me first was the cool breeze and the quiet forest air.
There were hardly any people around, so it was even quieter, and the walking path was well maintained, so I could walk slowly without feeling burdened.
There were no major uphill slopes, and the surroundings were natural, so I felt calmer as I walked.
Yongchu Waterfall isn't that big, but the gently flowing stream along the valley, the grass and trees blooming in between, and the sunset light permeating above were all beautiful.
It was the time when the sunset was just beginning to spread, so the sky was tinged with red, and a warm energy enveloped the entire forest.
I took some pictures, but I think it's better to capture such places with your eyes and feel them with your heart.
It's not a place with many things to see or good photo spots, but I liked that even more.
Nature as a comma, a path where you can walk and think quietly—it was a sufficient time in itself.
After the walk, I stopped by a restaurant called **[Chilyeon Garden]** nearby.
It's quietly located by the roadside, and the parking lot is large and the atmosphere is like a simple country house, so I could enter comfortably.
I ordered duck bulgogi as the main dish, and also ordered cold noodles (mul-naengmyeon) and spicy cold noodles (bibim-naengmyeon).
The duck bulgogi had a subtle smoky flavor, and the seasoning wasn't too strong, so it was good to eat with rice.
The cold noodles were cool and well-seasoned, so it was a good combination to eat with the meat.
It wasn't a fancy taste, but overall it was a neat and well-prepared meal.
More than anything, I really enjoyed the evening time, slowly filling my hunger in a quiet atmosphere.
On the way back, the sky was completely dark, and the mountain air became calmer.
Even though I didn't do anything big, I felt like the day was being organized.
When you want to let go of complicated thoughts, when you just want to walk quietly and have a meal, Yongchu Waterfall and Chilyeon Garden in Anseong-myeon, Muju, were a small but memorable combination.
