Location and Information
Muju Hyangrosan Natural Recreation Forest, Starlight Day Campground Restroom
Address: 153-36 Muhak-ro, Muju-eup, Muju-gun, Jeollabuk-do, South Korea
Like most recreation forests in Korea, Muju Hyangrosan Natural Recreation Forest has a campground, and the sites are deck-style.
If you prefer decks over crushed stone, you'll be especially satisfied with this place!
The clean flooring makes for a pleasant camping experience even in rainy or humid weather.
Reservations can be made on the Muju Hyangrosan Natural Recreation Forest website!
But, weekends are competitive, so be sure to book in advance!
Electricity is also crucial for camping!
The distance to the outlets varies slightly from site to site, so be sure to check the length of your extension cord.
Recommended Areas: B and C—
Convenient access to public facilities such as restrooms, showers, and sinks.
Campground Introduction (Convenience of Auto Camping)
This is an auto campground, so you can park right next to the deck!
Even with a lot of equipment, you can set up immediately without the stress of moving things around.
Please be careful not to confuse the fire hydrants with electrical outlets!
The decks are in good condition as they are not old.
However, the gaps between the deck boards are very narrow, so it may be difficult to use squid pegs.
There isn't enough space to insert squid pegs between the wooden boards!
→ Alternative: It is convenient to prepare deck-specific fixing solutions such as deck clips/straps or weight methods.
Public Facilities (Clean and Centrally Located)
The facilities are concentrated between sections B and C.
Restrooms: Clean
Men's and Women's Showers: Easy access to hot water
Sinks: Equipped with a microwave, convenient dishwashing area
Recycling area: Adjacent to the sinks
Even those who hesitate to camp if the facilities are dirty, don't worry! Overall, cleanliness is well maintained.
Enjoy the night view points too~★
When the sun goes down completely, lights resembling fireflies turn on on the mountainside opposite the campsite.
If you capture it in a photo, it sparkles just like a firefly—take an emotional night view shot only found in Muju.
Quiet forest, cool breeze, soft light…
“The night in Muju is a time to lower your heart one tone and rest.”
Be sure to come and experience the night in Muju.
