A Magical Sunset at Dobido Port
How many times in life can we encounter such a fantastic pink sky?
This time, I was incredibly lucky to travel to Dangjin and received an unforgettable sunset gift at Dobido Port.
Just before sunset, the pink sky that painted the world was so beautiful that it made my heart flutter.
Experiencing the sight of fishing at sunset while casting my rod towards the sea was truly a unique and special experience.
The scene of the gently rippling sea harmonizing with the sunset looked like a beautiful painting.
Moreover, I was pleasantly surprised to find that conchs were scattered everywhere along the beach.
Everywhere I turned my gaze, there were conchs, making it a delightful experience to explore.
This charming Dobido Port is where the ticket office for ferries and cruise ships to the beautiful Nanjido Island is located.
Nanjido Island is a popular tourist destination filled with attractions and activities, including the Dae Nanjido Beach and So Nanjido.
If you plan to visit Nanjido Island, remember that the ferry operates on a summer schedule from March 1 to September 30, 2026.
By checking the summer schedule in advance, you can enjoy a more relaxed and smooth trip to Dangjin.
A total of five ferry services operate daily from Dobido Port.
The first ferry departs at 7:50 AM, arriving at So Nanjido at 8:00 AM, and returns to Dobido Port at 8:15 AM.
The next ferry leaves at 11:00 AM, reaching So Nanjido at 11:10 AM, and returns at 11:25 AM.
The ferry at 1:00 PM is convenient for post-lunch travel, arriving at So Nanjido at 1:10 PM and returning at 1:25 PM.
The 3:00 PM ferry arrives at So Nanjido at 3:10 PM and returns to Dobido Port at 3:25 PM.
The last ferry departs at 5:00 PM, reaching So Nanjido at 5:10 PM and returning to Dobido Port at 5:25 PM.
With such a well-organized schedule, visiting at the right time will allow you to fully appreciate the charm of Dobido Port.
After a wonderful time filled with stunning pink sunsets, fascinating sunset fishing, and abundant sights at Dangjin's Dobido Port, I returned with truly happy memories.
