Deciding to spend the Chuseok holiday with family, we planned a day trip to Jeonju!

I visited the Jeonju Arboretum, filled with autumn scenery, with my two daughters. It was a delightful trip.

Even though we are in the same country, I heard that it was raining in Seoul. I even brought an umbrella, but Jeonju welcomed our trip with a beautiful sky.

We were able to fully enjoy autumn while strolling along the well-maintained arboretum paths.

A trip to a place where you can enjoy the gifts of nature always brings peace. Today, I filled myself with autumn, breathing in the scent of grass, trees, and flowers with my daughters.

Parking Information

Everything here is free. Admission and parking are both free. There is also a large parking lot that can accommodate buses, which was great. There is also an electric vehicle charging station.

The entrance has changed since the last time I visited. The entrance surrounded by a wall felt neater.

As you enter, there is a signpost, so you can follow the signpost and look around where you want to go. I decided to go around to the right.

The lotus flowers were already gone, leaving only traces of their splendor. Still, I liked the freshness of the green, so I took a commemorative photo on the bridge.

There is a pavilion in the lush green area. I went up to the pavilion and took some pictures. But I didn't know there was a beehive on the roof, and the bees were very surprised. You have to be careful not to get stung by bees here.

The sound of cool water naturally drew me in. The sound of the waterfall was nice to hear.

There was a wooden support next to the waterfall where you could take pictures, but it was old and creaky, making me feel uneasy. Still, it was nice to be able to take pictures close to the waterfall.

Sky and clouds, trees and sculptures...

I liked the harmonious combination of beautiful scenery.

While walking, I was drawn by the scent of roses to the rose garden. I was surprised and happy to see that roses were still blooming.

There were even roses that were just budding. The scent of roses in the breeze was so lovely.

Pink roses were blooming in the photo zone. Sitting on a bench and taking pictures with the roses made me feel like it was spring.

A shot at the representative photo zone here!

I take pictures here every time I come, but it feels different every time. It's also good for keeping fun memories.

The view of the garden unfolding below the rose garden was also very pretty. You can also see kochia scoparia.

There was also a new area that I hadn't seen before. It was nice to go up to the mini observatory and look down.

The sight of rabbit chairs gathered together was also fun.

Is this a magical arboretum?

There are still flowers on the pond...

My daughters were also amazed by the sight and took pictures.

There are many places to rest, and there is a cafe in the middle, which was nice. It sells not only coffee and drinks but also snacks, so it was perfect to take a break and have a cup of coffee after looking around.

Everyone was hot, so we sat on the outdoor benches at the cafe for a while to drink cool drinks.

Pink muhly grass is also in full bloom. It's not enough to form a colony, but it's enough to take pictures.

Successfully took a picture with pink muhly grass!

Is this okay?

The large giraffe sculpture looks alive, doesn't it?

After taking a break, we went for another walk. This time, we went in the opposite direction.

I saw a wooden cabin. There was a couple resting in the cabin, so I gave them space. lol

A little further inside, there was a bamboo forest. Squirrels came and went under the straight bamboo forest. It was so cute that I watched it for a long time, holding my breath.

I liked the sound of the wind rustling as I walked through the bamboo forest path.

When I was about to leave after the walk, the entrance was crowded. I saw students who had come as a group. I wonder what today will be like for these friends...

I was able to feel refreshed at the Jeonju Arboretum, which is a great place to visit in the fall.
