A Day Full of Adventures

This busy day in Seoul revolved around a long-awaited Haidilao meal with my brother, followed by light sightseeing and small moments of laughter.
From an unexpectedly long wait to eating far more than planned, the day unfolded around food, shared conversations, and relaxed wandering.
It ended quietly at home with our dog, leaving a warm start-of-the-year feeling and hopeful thoughts for the months ahead.
A long-awaited Haidilao meal in Seoul
Today was one of those unexpectedly busy days.
I went to Seoul again and finally had the Haidilao meal I’d been looking forward to with my brother.
Even though we made a reservation in advance, the waiting time was longer than expected.
By the time we actually started eating, it was already around 5 PM.
Eating until completely full
I was so hungry that I didn’t hesitate and just dove straight into the food.
We ordered a lot, just like the time I ate here with Na-eun and Sun-young.
It honestly felt like I might burst, but somehow we finished everything.
The expensive Haidilao meal still felt worth it in the end.
Light sightseeing after a heavy meal
After eating, we were so full that we decided to walk around and do some sightseeing.
There were so many cute things to look at, which made the walk enjoyable.
My brother mentioned he was watching Sakamoto, and we ended up chatting about it while wandering.
Sold-out gacha and popular characters
I tried to get some gacha prizes, but unfortunately, everything was sold out.
I really wanted to get Gojo, but it seems he’s incredibly popular.
A café stop and unexpected laughs
We stopped by a café in Yongsan, but I was still too full to fully enjoy it.
Instead, we took some funny photos together.
Seeing how different my face looked made me laugh, but I actually liked it.
It felt oddly cute.
Ending the day with more food and home comforts
Later on, we went to eat some fresh tuna, which was delicious.
After a full day centered around food, we finally headed home.
We gave our dog, Yonghi, some treats, and he was clearly very happy.
New Year thoughts to wrap up the day
Overall, it was a day filled with good food and fun moments.
Happy New Year.
I hope to become stronger this year.
Let’s keep our spirits up and enjoy life as it comes.
