Discovering the Warmth of 'Little Farm' in Cheongyang

Hello, this is Domi Reporter HELLO.
The weather has warmed up, but it still feels chilly in the mornings and evenings. Many people are paying attention to their health during this transitional season.
I visited a place where locals in Cheongyang enjoy warm soup to nourish their bodies.
Welcome to 'Little Farm' in Cheongyang. Although it is located a bit away from the city center, it is so popular that many people wait for a seat and sometimes have to turn back. It has even been selected as a top restaurant in Chungnam.
Let’s take a look inside!
▲ Entrance of Little Farm
The restaurant 'Little Farm' is indeed a popular spot. Despite its distance from the city center, it draws in so many customers that it’s advisable to call ahead.

▲ Seating at Little Farm
All the seats inside are arranged for dining, and there are special chairs for children available.
The menu features dishes like herbal chicken, boiled chicken, and chicken stew, with portions sufficient for about four people per chicken. A regular customer mentioned that they used to raise and process their own chickens right across the street.
▲ Basic Setting at Little Farm
When you make a reservation, you will be guided to your prepared seat. Side dishes include radish kimchi, napa cabbage kimchi, and water kimchi.
▲ Open Kitchen at Little Farm
The open kitchen manages the dining area while the chefs prepare the dishes with a pressure cooker in the back. When we visited, many tables were already set up, and it was clear the restaurant was very popular with continuous reservation calls coming in.
▲ Boiled Chicken at Little Farm
We ordered the 'Boiled Chicken'. It comes served in a large earthen pot along with glutinous rice.
The highlight here is the broth! The generous amount of rich broth warms you up inside, and many people enjoy this comforting soup.

▲ Making Porridge at Little Farm
The chicken used in 'Little Farm's Boiled Chicken is quite large, much bigger than the typical ginseng chicken. One chicken leg is about the size of a spoon! It's tender and perfectly seasoned.
After finishing the meat, you can leave a bit of broth and add rice to make delicious porridge.
Eating the boiled chicken and porridge truly gives you a sense of nourishment at 'Little Farm'.
▲ Takeout Information at Little Farm
Due to the size of the chicken, many customers find they can't finish the porridge, so takeout options are available. They charge 1,000 won for containers, while plastic bags are provided for free.
▲ Rest Area at Little Farm
Outside, there is a resting area where you can sit for a moment and enjoy the spring atmosphere.
How about warming up with a whole chicken at 'Little Farm' and then enjoying some flower viewing nearby?
