2026 National Orchid Exhibition in Sinan County
Hello, this is Sinan County.
To promote the beauty and value of native orchids in South Korea,
we will be hosting the '2026 National Orchid Exhibition'
from April 17 to 19
at the Yellow Sea Exchange Museum
(Bonsai Garden of the 1004 Islands).
This exhibition is the largest event of its kind in the country,
where various species of orchids will be showcased.
Enthusiasts, growers, and related organizations from across the nation
are expected to participate, presenting high-quality works.
This year, we are excited to announce that the Speaker of the National Assembly
will present the highest honor, elevating the prestige and authority of the event.
Entries will be evaluated comprehensively based on artistry, shape, color,
completion, and rarity, with awards given to the most outstanding works.
During the event, we have prepared various programs, including:
- Exhibition of submitted works
- Display of over 500 orchids managed by the Sinan Agricultural Technology Center
- Opening ceremony and award presentation
- Exhibition of products utilizing orchids
- Farmers' market for participation and sales.
This event goes beyond a simple exhibition, encompassing
the distribution and commercialization of orchids,
and we expect it to strengthen the foundation for
the industrialization of this regional specialty crop.
Sinan County is committed to actively promoting
the preservation and industrialization of orchids
as a representative specialty crop of the region.
