2026 Island Daffodil Festival in Sinan-gun

The '2026 Island Daffodil Festival' will be held in Seondori, Jido-eup, Sinan-gun from April 3 to April 12.
This year's theme is 'A Yellow Wave Connecting the Sea and Spring.'
In spring, the entire island is adorned with golden daffodils, creating a beautiful landscape that harmonizes with the sea.
We expect it to attract many tourists.
Seondori is home to the largest daffodil colony in the country, covering an area of approximately 14.7 hectares with 2.37 million daffodils planted.
In spring, around 10.04 million daffodils bloom simultaneously, creating a spectacular sight that blankets the island in yellow.
The beginning of this beautiful landscape dates back over 30 years.
Grandma Hyun Bok-soon, known as the 'Daffodil Lady,' started planting daffodils around her home, creating a small flower garden.
This garden gradually expanded, and now it has become a popular spring flower destination visited by many nationwide.
During the festival, visitors can enjoy the daffodil scenery harmonizing with the sea and savor the essence of spring.
There are photo zones set up throughout the island where you can take beautiful pictures.
We also have a 'Daffodil Painting Experience' program for children and families.
The entrance fee is 6,000 won for adults, but visitors wearing yellow clothing can enter for a discounted price of 3,000 won.
Children, teenagers, and military personnel can enter for free.
A portion of the entrance fee will be refunded as '1004 Island Sinan Gift Certificates' to encourage local shopping.
Sinan-gun will continue to manage the daffodil colony in Seondori and work towards creating a year-round flower tourism destination.
This spring, come and experience the special scenery where the sea and daffodils meet in Seondori.
