The '2025 Korea Native Orchid Exhibition,' a leading orchid festival in South Korea, will be held from November 1st to 2nd at the Sinan-gun Public Gymnasium in Aphae-do, Sinan-gun.

The exhibition will showcase approximately 2,000 native orchid works from across the country.

It aims to preserve endangered species of rare native orchids, popularize orchid culture, and establish a foundation for industrialization.

Sinan-gun is known as a treasure trove of native orchids in Korea.

The county has been holding exhibitions of Cymbidium goeringii since 2013.

In 2014, Sinan-gun signed an MOU with the Korea Native Orchid Association to promote native orchid restoration projects.

Since 2021, the 'Korea Native Orchid Exhibition' has been held as a regular event, promoting the preservation and value of native plants.

In particular, last year, 'Sinan Cymbidium goeringii,' a symbolic native plant of Sinan, was designated as the county flower, further enhancing the ecological value of Sinan.

Beyond simple exhibitions, this event will feature programs in which visitors can directly participate, including:

- Awards ceremony

- Orchid auctions and clinics

- Hands-on programs and side events

This will be an opportunity for people of all ages to experience the beauty and fragrance of orchids up close.

The grand prize winner will be awarded the Prime Minister's Award, marking the 5th anniversary of this prestigious recognition.

The Prime Minister's Award is the highest honor given to works and exhibitors who have contributed to the development of the native orchid industry and culture.

It demonstrates that the Korea Native Orchid Exhibition has established itself as a representative event with national authority and tradition.
