1004 Island Bonsai Garden in Sinan County Surpasses 2 Million Visitors!


One of Sinan County's premier tourist destinations,
the 1004 Island Bonsai Garden
has finally surpassed 2 million cumulative visitors! π

At 2:30 PM on the 10th,
the family of Kang Sol from Siheung, Gyeonggi Province,
became the lucky 2 millionth visitors.
Mr. Kang said,
"I came to visit my parents in my hometown and stopped by, and I'm so happy to have this luck,"
and added,
"I'm proud that there is such a beautiful garden in my hometown." π
Opened in 2009, Growing into the Heart of 'K-Garden'
The 1004 Island Bonsai Garden has been a beloved tourist attraction in Sinan since its opening in 2009.
After surpassing 1 million visitors in 2019, it reached 2 million visitors in just 6 years,
firmly establishing itself as the heart of the K-Garden.
In particular, while there were 110,000 visitors last year,
this year has already exceeded 150,000, and even greater records are expected by the end of the year. π
Impressive Scenery Created by Masterpiece Bonsai and Baby Camellia Flowers
The Bonsai Garden features over 500 masterpiece bonsai trees
carefully displayed.
These works are the result of
professional bonsai caretakers adding delicate touches to each one.
Also, in winter,
40 million baby camellia flowers bloom,
creating a spectacle of bonsai and flowers in harmony.
It is praised as an 'art garden in nature'
by those who visit. π
