Traveling from Jeonju to Incheon Airport During Chuseok: A Guide

Jeonju Unnie's World Travels
For some reason, I seem to be traveling abroad during all the golden holidays this year.
Since I usually have flexible time,
I prefer traveling on weekdays rather than weekends, and during the off-season rather than peak vacation times.
This Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving), however, I didn't have a choice, so I was worried.
First, here's how to get to Incheon Airport from Jeonju:
My tip for taking the bus from Jeonju to Incheon Airport is that the airport limousine bus takes an extra 30 minutes.
In that case, taking the intercity bus from Jeonju to Incheon Airport is faster and cheaper.
The seats are the same, and everyone knows that the second to last row has wider legroom due to the emergency exit, right?
This time, I booked late and couldn't get the time I wanted. Also, I was worried about the Chuseok holiday causing chaos at Incheon Airport and heavy traffic.
After some consideration, I managed to book a KORAIL train ticket for Chuseok and decided to try the Airport Railroad Express (AREX) and City Airport Terminal for the first time.
You can save a bit by booking through Klook. Search Klook for "Incheon Airport Express Train."
After purchasing on Klook, I clicked on the voucher and activated it by reserving the date and time. It was quick!
Because I couldn't predict how long it would take due to the Chuseok holiday, I originally preferred taking the bus all the way, even if it took longer, which is what I usually do abroad.
But since I'm in Korea and the Airport Railroad offers check-in services,
it seems more convenient to send my luggage and travel light on the Airport Railroad directly to Incheon Airport.
Incheon Airport will probably be crowded, but I'm hoping to save a lot of time by using SmartPass or bypassing the regular lines!
But be sure to check the Airport Railroad Express train schedule!
Outside of the holidays, it might be more efficient to just take the bus directly.
