Many people traveling to Southeast Asia, including Thailand, try to avoid the rainy season. We spent our summer vacation in Bangkok and Phuket this year, enjoying a meaningful 9-night, 10-day trip. We booked our flights at a discounted rate thanks to a promotion, and because a friend works at a global hotel chain, we were able to book a great hotel at a significant discount.

Long trips mean more luggage, and we needed our own car to get to Incheon Airport. I compared several parking services beforehand, trying to decide where to leave our car.

We decided to drive to Incheon Airport for the convenience. We traveled around Bangkok and Phuket, and needed a place to park our car for ten days. Looking at the long-term parking options at Incheon Airport Terminal 2, I found a place that offered free valet parking.

1. Airport Valet Service When Reserving Long-Term Parking at Incheon Airport Terminal 2

Incheon Airport Terminal 2 has short-term and long-term parking facilities. The short-term parking, which is indoors, was very expensive. Long-term parking was cheaper, but it was quite far from the departure hall, requiring a shuttle bus. This made it difficult to choose long-term parking right away.

If you need to take the shuttle bus, you might have to wait for it due to the scheduled intervals. And if you use long-term parking, you have to use the official valet service if you don't take the shuttle, which can cause other problems.

Parking fees at Incheon Airport Terminal 2 aren't as cheap as you might think. Discounts are available, but only for compact cars, people with disabilities, families with multiple children, veterans, and electric cars. So, using a private parking service was much cheaper than using the official one.

Indoor parking at Incheon Airport Terminal 2 costs ₩24,000 per day, which would be ₩240,000 for ten days. However, private services only cost ₩80,000.

The long-term parking fee at Incheon Airport Terminal 2 is ₩9,000 per day, and the valet fee is ₩20,000. When using Incheon Airport Terminal 2 long-term parking, you have to take a shuttle bus or pay for the official valet service. But private valet parking companies offered it for free.

2. Private Parking Companies Offering Free Valet Parking at Incheon Airport Terminal 2

If you want to use the valet parking service at Incheon Airport Terminal 2, you have to choose between the official service and a private service. This company was the cheapest among the long-term parking options at Incheon Airport Terminal 2. Like Terminal 1, they offer free valet service at Terminal 2 as well.

You don't have to worry because they are officially registered and licensed to provide parking services. They only park cars that have been reserved, so you don't have to worry about theft, scratches, or door dings.

3. From Reservation to Arrival: Valet Parking at Incheon Airport Terminal 2 Long-Term Parking

You can make a reservation directly on the Incheon Airport Terminal 2 long-term parking company's website. You can also call them if you're in a hurry.

I called them 30 minutes before arriving at the airport, and the driver came to pick us up right away.

It's convenient because you just have to call when you're heading to the airport. They dropped us off in front of the departure gate, which was very convenient and saved us a lot of time, allowing us to go straight into the terminal.

By making a valet reservation in advance, I didn't have to find a parking spot myself or take a shuttle bus, which was great.

4. Easy Airport Access with Valet Parking Reservations at Incheon Airport Terminal 2

I wasn't rushed to board my flight, and I was able to relax in the lounge and duty-free shops while waiting. Even though Terminal 2 isn't as big as Terminal 1, it still gets crowded, so it's a good idea to use a private parking service for valet.

If you're driving to Incheon Airport, you should definitely make a parking reservation. Limousine buses and subways are very inconvenient. Driving is the best option, and you can easily reserve your parking service on the website.

Cookie Valet, which has its own parking facilities, was cheaper than the official service and even handled the vehicle return for us.

They came to the arrival gate with the car, so it didn't matter if we had a lot of luggage. I called them while I was picking up my luggage, and the driver was already waiting to return the car. There was no waiting involved.

CookieValet was a great value compared to other Incheon Airport Terminal 2 long-term parking options, and I'll be using them again for future international trips. If you're planning a trip, you might want to consider them.
