You can easily check the AREX schedule on the website by selecting your departure and arrival stations.
From Seoul Station, the first train on weekends departs at 6:10 AM, with trains running approximately every 40 minutes. Consider your arrival time when booking your AREX ticket.
On weekdays, the first train from Seoul Station is at 6:00 AM.
The last train from Seoul Station departs at 10:50 PM, so keep that in mind when booking your AREX ticket!
From Incheon Airport Terminal 2, the first train on weekends departs at 5:15 AM, and from Terminal 1 at 5:23 AM. The weekday schedule is the same.

Where to Board the AREX at Seoul Station
You can board the AREX train on the underground level of Seoul Station.
Based on the main hall, turn left with the KTX boarding gates behind you!
Follow the signs to the City Airport Terminal next to the luggage storage shop.
Take the escalator down, and you'll see signs for both the express and regular trains.
If you take the express train, you can use the City Airport Terminal to check in and drop off your luggage in advance, which is very convenient.
However, this service is not available for all airlines, so be sure to check with your airline beforehand!
I couldn't use the service because I was flying with a foreign airline. I was quite envious of those taking the airport express train without luggage.
If you haven't booked your AREX ticket in advance, you can purchase a ticket on-site.
However, pre-booking offers a discount of ₩1,500, and you can conveniently enter with a QR code.
You need to take the elevator down to the 7th basement floor to get to the express train platform.
AREX Experience
The AREX express train looks like a regular high-speed train, and it has space for luggage, making it easy to travel to the airport.
There weren't many passengers, so it was a quiet and comfortable 43-minute ride to Incheon Airport.
Upon arrival, the signs are clear, so I had no trouble reaching Terminal 1.
It took only 5 minutes to get to the terminal after getting off the airport express train, even without rushing!
