Flower Knows Pop-Up in Seongsu: A Fairytale Experience Worth the Wait!

I braved a whopping 3.5-hour wait to visit the super trendy Flower Knows pop-up(플라워노즈 팝업) in Seongsu!
The beautifully designed cosmetic packaging was mesmerizing, and there was even a lucky draw event!
Here's a detailed review of my Flower Knows pop-up experience.

What's the hype about Flower Knows?
Under the slogan
"Live Your Fairytale,"
Flower Knows is a brand that showcases fairytale-like collections and products.
Although they market themselves as a global brand, it's actually a Chinese brand!
Recently, getting your makeup done and taking photos in Shanghai has become a trend. "Wanghong" makeup, unique to China,
is slowly emerging in Korea as well.
Flower Knows is one of the brands that allows you to see these Chinese trends.
Above all, Flower Knows has the most unique and beautiful packaging.
It's similar to the princess vibes of Etude House in the past,
but more daring and a full-fledged princess Rococo style!
Flower Knows Pop-Up Location and Wait Times
The Flower Knows pop-up is located in the very first building you see after exiting Seongsu Station Exit 3.
And it's easy to find because there are so many people!
I went on the first day, thinking it opened at 11 AM,
but was it real that there were 171 people waiting at 11:30 AM?!
Since only on-site kiosk waiting is available without prior reservation,
I put my name on the waiting list at 11:30 AM
and went to another pop-up, had lunch, and went to a cafe in the meantime.
I entered at 3 PM.
A whopping 3.5-hour wait, haha.
Flower Knows hit the jackpot... The wait was really long.
I hope it's just because it was the first day.

I just hoped I wouldn't get 6th place in this lucky draw.

1st Floor: Collection Viewing
On the 1st floor, you can see all the Flower Knows products that have been released so far by collection.
The beautiful Swan Ballet collection,
the Angel concept products,
and the Shells Jewel Collection, which is said to be one of the most popular products.
There were so many other products!
There's also a photo zone on the 1st floor,
and a photo booth available for purchases over 100,000 won.
The lucky draw area after purchasing products on the 2nd floor is also
located on the 1st floor.
2nd Floor: Product Testing and Payment Area
The 2nd floor is a space where you can test and
purchase products by collection.
Being able to see and test the Flower Knows products that I had only seen on social media...!
That alone was so, so good.
There were so many that I didn't know what to buy,
but the palettes seemed to have the prettiest exterior designs.
The palette from the very pretty Sweety Bear series.
This isn't even available on the Naver Smart Store yet,
so you can only officially see it at the pop-up.
I didn't know they had concealer!
I was a little hesitant to buy the mirror because it was so pretty,
but I already have a lot of hand mirrors, so I passed.
Should I have bought it...? Hehe.
Ah, there were so many things to see and buy, so I had fun looking around,
but a few things were a little disappointing.
✔️There were so many people compared to the testing space,
so it wasn't easy to test.
✔️Perhaps because there were so many people, the lighting wasn't good,
so it was a little difficult to check the color payoff.
But... there are purchase benefits for each tier,
and I already waited so long, so I ended up buying it anyway, haha.
I wondered if this collection was as good as people said it was...?
But somehow, it ended up in my purchase history.
Hahaha.
I didn't buy the Strawberry Rococo Collection blusher because
the exterior was so pretty, but the color payoff wasn't good.
Other people also said,
"If the color is pretty, the design is disappointing," etc.
It seems that there aren't many products that satisfy both design & color.
Please release more diverse colors and textures!
I got the Strawberry Cupid Collection liquid blush that I was curious about.
The 2nd floor also had various photo zones.
Although it's not in the photos, there are many vanities where you can test makeup.
But I wish they had made more product display zones than vanities
so that people could test more comfortably.
Of course, Flower Knows may not have expected so many people.
Lucky Draw Review
I purchased over 80,000 won, so I was able to participate in the lucky draw once,
and the result was 6th place!
Seeing that the person in front of me also got 6th place,
it seems that there are far more last-place prizes.

Even the shopping bag is cute!
It seems that the bear is Flower Knows' signature.
I bought a total of 3 items,
and I received a hair pin and 3 puffs as free gifts.

Such embossed design.
I can't believe how the exterior design looks like.
The container company is amazing. The designer is amazing...
Of course, the container isn't super luxurious,
but it seems to have Flower Knows' own vibe.
It's like playing with a toy,
and if you have a definite princess Rococo taste,
you'll really, really like these designs.
A little disappointing is that the palette color combinations
aren't as well-suited to Koreans as the domestic products at Olive Young,
so this palette seemed to be the best for versatile use.
Strawberry Cupid Collection Liquid Blush
05 Rum Cocoa
There were some colors that were too reddish or fluorescent,
but this liquid was a moderately lukewarm beige color, so I selected it!
And I couldn't just pass it by because the container was pretty.
Shells Jewel Collection Nourishing Lip Glaze
P02 Stella Naker
I bought it because the color was lukewarm and not too dull!
The colors aren't very diverse compared to the flashy design,
but still, it's pleasing to the eye,
and it feels like I've returned to a fairy tale and my childhood innocence,
so just looking at it makes me feel good and full.
Flower Knows is doing a good job...
I have a feeling I'll buy more if it's good after using it a few times.
