Adding to the controversy, a video was released showing Huening Kai allegedly hugging a woman, with claims that it was taken immediately after his arrival in Korea, further fueling dating rumors and causing significant repercussions.
The place Huening Kai allegedly visited is a bar called Orange Room.
The woman he was with is being identified as Moon Chanel, a member of the girl group Fifty Fifty.
They reportedly participated in a dance challenge together in May 2025.

In short, he clarified that he met a female acquaintance he hadn't seen in a while, had drinks with her, and then took her home.
He stated that they are not in a relationship and that he simply hugged a drunk female friend. It remains to be seen how fans will react to this.
