NEXZ: The Next Generation of K-Pop Performance Group

The appeal of K-pop lies in its diversity and global influence.
Recently, the story of NEXZ, a multinational boy group launched through a collaboration between JYP Entertainment and Japan, has been receiving a lot of attention.
Having debuted in Korea last May, they stepped onto the global stage in August with their official debut in Japan.
NEXZ, which quickly established itself as a 'next-generation K-pop performance group,' is showing another level of growth with their recently released 3rd mini-album, 'Ride the Vibe'.
An interview with the members was held at a cafe in Seongsu-dong, Seoul.
There, the members of NEXZ expressed their pride in the new album and conveyed the importance they place on communicating with fans.
In particular, member Hui revealed, "As we are returning after a six-month hiatus, I wanted to show a more improved and grown-up version of ourselves," and expressed his gratitude to the fans.
This album includes five songs, including the title track 'Ride the Vibe', along with 'Keep Going', 'Starlight', 'Blur', and 'For Us'.
Notably, the members participated directly in writing and composing 'For Us', fully capturing their unique style.
In that respect, this album is an opportunity to feel the members' creative passion, going beyond simple musical achievements.
The title track 'Ride the Vibe' expresses the intention to enjoy the moment and the new feelings that come with it.
Member Seogeon expressed confidence, saying, "This song shows our identity well."
Notably, the choreography and creative input from the members stand out in this album.
Yu emphasized, "I wanted to try various breaking techniques this time," hinting at diverse performances.
NEXZ aims to further emphasize communication with fans by creating the unique modifier 'HeartZ'.
This word, created by Seogeon, is a new expression combining 'Heart' and 'Z', containing the intention to share the feelings that fans experience while watching their performances.
In this pleasant team atmosphere, the members strive for each other's musical growth and prioritize communication with fans.
Additionally, NEXZ strengthened their JYP family ties by appearing on tvN's 'Business Trip Fifteen Nights', sharing camaraderie with other artists.
Seogeon recalled, "Filming with our seniors was an exciting and grateful experience," cherishing the moments when they were able to get closer through communication with their seniors.
The members of NEXZ are a global team with diverse backgrounds, characterized by the central role of the Japanese members.
While working in Korea, they naturally learn the Korean language and culture, and they also express their love for Korean food.
In particular, Seita expressed his affection for Korean culture, saying, "Korean food is healthy and delicious."
NEXZ, created through the collaboration of JYP and Sony Music Japan, has a unique history of debuting in Korea first, despite being a localized Japanese team.
They are striving to walk their own path amidst competition with other rookie groups, pursuing musical growth with a positive mindset.
Through 'Ride the Vibe' activities, NEXZ hopes to be recognized not only for their performance skills but also for their live performance abilities.
With these goals in mind, they will continue to communicate with fans through new musical endeavors in the future.
Just like their ambition to enjoy the moment, NEXZ is creating a new wave in K-pop.
