I heard my friends say they enjoyed it about five hundred times. I was curious why kids were so enthusiastic about it, so I decided to watch it.

This character is inspired by "Hojakdo", a type of Korean folk painting featuring tigers and magpies.
There's a key point that makes this character so popular.

We used kraft paper to express it like a folk painting.
And with Duffy is his partner, Seoshi (the magpie).
After drawing with a brush pen, we painted the blue Duffy using opaque gouache paints.
We used various pens to express Duffy's characteristics in detail.
We added a warm atmosphere to the overall painting by expressing the yellow moonlight with pastels, and that’s it!
The yellow color added warmth to the painting.
Adding yellow to the outside of Duffy to better express the moonlight shining behind him gave the painting a deeper sense of space.
Duffy has even appeared in my house and the hamster's house!
