Ailee Opens Up About Fertility Journey, Supported by Fans

— “Hoping for a miracle…” Fans flood with support for her heartfelt confession
“Still hoping for natural pregnancy”
Singer Ailee shared an honest update on her efforts with her husband, Choi Si-hoon, to have a child.
On the 22nd, a video titled ‘Hoping for a miracle… Starting management for the best physical condition’ was uploaded to Ailee’s YouTube channel.
Ailee said, “Recently, my daily life has changed a lot as I prepare for pregnancy. It’s a more difficult process than I thought, so I’m worried, but I’m managing well by consistently exercising and controlling my diet.”
She continued, “I’m still hoping for natural pregnancy, but if necessary, I might have to prepare for IVF. I think advice from seniors would be a great help,” she said sincerely.
“This month is the last challenge for natural pregnancy”
In the video, Ailee and her husband, Choi Si-hoon, focused on creating a healthy body by dieting together.
Choi Si-hoon said, “It turns out that having a baby is harder than I thought. I’m going to try for natural pregnancy one last time this month, and if it doesn’t work out, I’m considering IVF.”
He added, “These days, my wife watches a lot of pregnancy-related videos, and she cries while watching them,” conveying Ailee’s feelings.
Ailee confessed, “When I see stories of people who have difficulty with natural pregnancy like me, I really relate. I still feel emotional thinking about it.”
“I feel sorry to my husband and sorry to my body”
Ailee teared up, saying, “I haven’t properly rested since my debut. I think I’ve been pushing myself too hard.”
She confessed, “I’m upset and sorry to my husband,” and Choi Si-hoon comforted her kindly, saying, “We can overcome it if we work together. I’ll be by your side until the end.”
“6 months into marriage, the real story of a real couple”
Meanwhile, Ailee married Choi Si-hoon, a businessman and former actor, last April, announcing a warm new beginning.
Even after marriage, she continues to communicate with fans through music activities and social media.
Guaja's Comment:
“It was tears of the real ‘human Ailee’ instead of charisma on stage. Miracles will surely come, slowly.”
