Winter Adventures and Family Moments
It's been a while since I last wrote, and I have some catching up to do on my daily life.
Winter has arrived, and with it comes the Jungfrau winter coaster...
Every time I go to Jungfrau, I can't help but want to ride it. Even the owner seems to remember me as the first customer to ask for it... haha!
One day, when we become closer, I definitely want to buy a Dreamy coaster!
My husband's second car has just come out. After six months of having the K8, we've decided to change it.
Due to an issue with parking the K8 in our Enchanto parking lot, I drove around in my car, but it seems I'll need to switch to a slightly smaller one.
In the end, we went with the BMW 320i!
Before we got the K8, my husband was already contemplating various options, and ultimately, we ended up bringing a BMW home.
He's quite meticulous, so he did extensive research before making this change!
I was looking for a black interior with a cognac combination!
After a failed attempt at a dealership in Ilsan, we went to the Daejeon store where a suitable car was available right away!
It felt like it was meant to be... and we successfully got it!
If it weren't for the parking issue, we would have gone for the 5 Series...
Anyway, after picking it up, our new Jin-Sam is super cute and stylish!
Safe driving, please. My husband needs to be extra careful while commuting to Daejeon.
Since he often drives long distances, we even equipped it with winter tires!
My husband jokingly said he wants to take a flashy photo with his Rolex. So, I took one for him.
It seems like Daejeon is lucky for us... we scored a Rolex and got a discount on the BMW!
Driving the BMW feels great, although coming from a Kia, I do notice some outdated features like the interior and rear camera.
I've been visiting Jenny Nail once a month lately, and I'm always satisfied with the results!
This week, I'm off to get my nails done again, wondering what design to choose...
My nail art lasts long, and the artist at the Hannam branch is highly recommended.
At home, our bedding still gets changed weekly!
The new mattress cover I ordered from Dongdaemun is beautiful, and I took some photos of it!
Finding a ready-made cover for my large king mattress is challenging since it's 35 cm high.
Next time, I plan to get a patterned one!
My husband is so supportive, allowing me to get two new covers, which made me really happy!
This winter, I want to show my appreciation to my parents.
On my day off, I went out with my mom, and we decided to grab lunch together.
I wanted to buy her some clothes, but she already had her eye on something!
She tried it on, and it suited her perfectly, so I treated her!
It was a K2 padded jacket that someone had modeled.
Nowadays, outdoor jackets easily exceed 60,000 won.
I recently got a credit card with a 15% discount at Shinsegae, which made me very happy!
Last year, I bought my dad a jacket, and this time, I got him a Patagonia Retro-X.
He and my mom wear the old one I gave them so much that I decided to get him the long-sleeve version this time.
We spent over an hour in the dish section, which is my favorite!
On the way home, I also did some shopping for dinner.
I bought my dad some Uniqlo pants to update his style.
My husband got him an Arc'teryx Atom a while back, and he wears it well.
Even my dad has a trendy wardrobe now!
I couldn't buy anything for myself, but I found a great deal at Gwangjuyo with a 30% discount on everything!
I couldn't resist putting together a set of dishes for under 100,000 won!
The items weren't pre-selected, and everything I liked was 30% off, so it felt like a great deal!
I'm very satisfied!
My padding hunt began in September, and my husband has a collection of Patagonia and North Face jackets.
I only have a few jackets, and my old Nuptse is about 4-5 years old now.
My husband is encouraging me to get a new one since it's gotten quite worn.
We went to the store, and he ended up buying a CP Company knit padding after trying on the last one in his size.
It was something he had tried on back in September!
My options were Max Mara, Erno, CP Company, Polo Ralph Lauren, and more...
But the ones I liked were either sold out or too expensive.
In the end, I decided to go for a Moncler, which I was hesitant to ask for due to the price.
After four hours of shopping, we finally got a chance to wait for another round of shopping.
My husband was exhausted from the shopping spree!
In the end, I picked a shiny Moncler that I absolutely love!
It's lightweight and warm enough to wear with just a t-shirt underneath.
Thank you to my husband for making the purchase!
After helping with cleaning, he gave me a generous hourly wage and told me to keep working hard until next year.
Now that I have my Moncler, I can't help but wonder if I should wear it casually.
I'm searching for budget-friendly options to pair with it.
After cleaning, we went out for dinner at Hotel Onoma's buffet!
We made a reservation over the phone and got lucky with a cancellation.
We arrived early and took lots of photos while waiting!
The seating was spacious, and the food was just enough to fill us up!
The king crab was delicious, and the lamb was superb!
We ended up enjoying several plates of food.
Instead of dessert, I baked some baguettes with butter, which were so good!
We had a wonderful evening, starting and ending the year happily!
Even though I couldn't eat much, I would love to go back!
This year has been full of ups and downs, but we are overcoming the hardships and finding happiness!
Next year, I hope for even more joy!
Let's prepare well and wait for our little one!
I'm looking forward to next year with my husband!
