Relaxing Getaway at Gapyeong Velocirake Pool Villa: A Private Retreat

I was looking for a private space and discovered Velocirake, a pool villa pension in Gapyeong.
Located about an hour and a half by car from Seoul, it's easily accessible. Even before arriving, the natural scenery unfolding on both sides of the road was soothing.
Especially while driving along the Bukhan River, I felt more and more relaxed as I got closer to the pension!
The room I booked was a family room where we could use the entire 3rd floor. The space was large and well-organized, so it felt like home.
With a kitchen, living room, and two bathrooms each, it felt more like a short move than a trip.
There were also two bedrooms with three queen-size beds each, so we could sleep comfortably. Various amenities were well-equipped, making it convenient!
I especially loved the river view from the room.
Just looking at the scenery outside the window, with a view of the Bukhan River at a glance, made me feel calm and happy.
Also, we had a great time grilling meat at the outdoor barbecue area and enjoying a campfire.
Adding aurora powder to the firewood changed the color of the flames, making it a unique experience :))
There was a large screen and beam projector in the living room, so we watched Netflix with friends, and there was also a coin karaoke room, so we enjoyed singing all night long.
There's also a kids zone for children, making it a good choice for families.
In the evening, we could soak our feet in the foot bath and talk comfortably. The bedding and mattress were comfortable, so we could sleep soundly even after playing all day!
Also, the Velocirake pool villa in Gapyeong had basic amenities well-prepared, so there was no need to pack separately.
There are many tourist attractions nearby such as Nami Island, Jaraseom Island, and the Garden of Morning Calm. You can also go grocery shopping near Gapyeong Station and use the pick-up service, making it convenient for those who come without a car.
Early check-in and late check-out are available, so if you want to spend a relaxing time, you can use them for an additional fee, which was even better :)
