Parking & Check-in
What makes Moranjae a great choice for a quick trip near Seoul is its proximity to the city and ample indoor and outdoor parking. The owner was kind enough to use a lift to bring our luggage up and gave us a tour of the room, making it easy to settle in.
Room & Living Room
Room 1
The largest of the three rooms features a double bed and a single bed. The ceiling above the bed is made of glass, allowing you to stargaze at night.
There is a large TV installed right in front of the bed, allowing you to watch various shows through OTT channels. Next to it is a small sofa, creating a comfortable living room-like space. In particular, the air purifier, air conditioner, fan, and game consoles made it a great place to relax and unwind.
Room 2
The second room, decorated with a pink bed, has a double bed and a small table, perfect for reading or doing makeup. Impressively, both rooms had small windows, allowing us to enjoy the night view and count stars before falling asleep.
Room 3
With three single beds lined up side by side, this group pension in Hanam is perfect for chatting with friends late into the night. Each room has its own air conditioning system, and the bedding was clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.
Kitchen
A separate kitchen space is located in front of the largest room. Above the induction stovetop and sink, there is a two-story storage space well-organized with dishes, various types of cups, wine glasses, and kitchen utensils. In particular, seasonings such as salt, pepper, sugar, cooking oil, chili powder, and soy sauce were also provided, which we found very useful.
Equipped with various kitchen appliances such as a water purifier, microwave, rice cooker, and large refrigerator, this pension near Seoul has many advantages.
The Rooftop Camp kitchen, which can accommodate up to 15 people, is conveniently equipped with plenty of cutlery, chopsticks, forks, cutting boards, knives, bowls, scissors, wine openers, disposable gloves, aluminum foil, and paper towels for everyone, making it easy to enjoy a party.
Bathroom
The bathroom has two toilets, a sink, and a shower room. Although there is only one bathroom, it is spacious and separated, allowing for simultaneous use. Plenty of towels, soap, toothpaste, hand sanitizer, and combs are provided, so you only need to bring your personal items.
Both bathrooms were clean and well-ventilated, with no unpleasant odors. The shower room had good hot water and water pressure. The amenities included shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, all of high quality, enhancing the pleasant experience.
Karaoke Room
This detached pension in Gyeonggi-do has a karaoke room where you can sing your heart out without worrying about disturbing others. With a 7-seater table and a large sofa, it's a great space for group bonding.
Equipped with a state-of-the-art karaoke system including an 85-inch large screen, great sound, wireless microphones, and a remote control, plus convenient amenities such as air conditioning, a fan, and hangers, it was perfect for enjoying a karaoke party.
Barbecue Area
The rooftop barbecue area, which overlooks the Seoul cityscape, is a great spot to catch the sunset and night views. There's a table that seats 10 and 8 auxiliary chairs. You can also enjoy a campfire under the beautiful lights.
Lotte World Tower, a Seoul landmark, is only about 4-5km away in a straight line (7.5km by car), making it seem within reach. You can also take in the beautiful green garden.
The rooftop barbecue area also has a fire pit and a hammock for relaxing. As a detached pension located in the forest, the air quality is also excellent. A large Bluetooth speaker is provided so you can play your favorite music and enjoy a barbecue party and relaxing time.
The barbecue grill is gas-powered, making it easy to grill meat. There are also well-equipped recycling bins.

Moranjae, a pension near Seoul, is located on a low hill in the forest, allowing you to capture detailed views of Seoul's nightscape. It's also a great place to admire the glittering lights from the 555m-tall Lotte World Tower.
Another advantage of the Rooftop Camp barbecue area is the atmosphere for parties under the brilliant lighting. The windbreak structure also allows you to enjoy barbecue parties in all four seasons, regardless of the weather.
The garden, with autumn in full swing, is filled with the fragrance of blooming chrysanthemums and has many photo zones perfect for taking pictures.
Walking through the forest garden, you feel like you've entered an arboretum. While it's close to the city, it offers spacious rooms, a barbecue area, and a karaoke room where you can sing to your heart's content. It is a great place for a quick trip near Seoul.
