Haevichi Hotel Jeju: Stress-Free Stay with Baby - Baby Amenities Rental Guide

If you're planning a trip to Jeju Island with your baby and staying at a hotel, you've probably wondered about renting baby supplies. I also stayed at the Haevichi Hotel with my baby and used their baby amenities rental service to minimize luggage. It turned out to be quite systematic and convenient.
Today, based on my actual experience, I'll walk you through everything from the list of available baby items at Haevichi Hotel, the reservation process, to my actual review!

Haevichi Hotel offers free baby amenities rental upon prior request. (However, the quantity is limited, so be sure to inquire in advance.)

Reservation Method
1️⃣ Request with Room Reservation
Mention "Request to rent baby supplies (desired items)" in the hotel request or to the Haevichi Hotel Reservation Center in advance, and it will be recorded in your reservation details.
2️⃣ Reconfirm One Day Before Check-in (Not really necessary for Haevichi Hotel!)
Usually, on-site requests on the day of check-in are unlikely to be available, so reconfirmation is crucial. However, Haevichi Hotel seemed to operate systematically according to the reservation date, perhaps due to a system that receives reservations according to a set quantity.
3️⃣ Confirm Receipt at Check-in
After checking in and entering the room, the requested items are already set up in advance. (Really the best!)
I requested a bed rail, bathtub, air purifier, and body pillow. The bed rail was already set up, the bathtub was in the shower room, the body pillow was on the table, and the air purifier was neatly prepared in front of the TV.
Actual Reservation Process
Review of Using Hyundai Amex Card Voucher
Usually, there are promotional prices on the official website when booking a hotel, making it a bit cheaper. However, the dates I visited coincided with the vacation season, so general hotel booking sites were cheaper than the official website!
So, I booked through HotelsCombined and requested a baby crib, bed rail, baby bathtub, and air purifier in the request section. Additionally, I mentioned that we were going on a family trip for our baby's first birthday.
The reservation was made in the early morning, and I received a response the same morning. (I received a call first, but missed it. I called back, and in the meantime, I received an email.) They mentioned that if it's the birthday itself, they would prepare a mini-slice cake with proof and asked for a pre-reservation if desired. However, unfortunately, Baby Eve's birthday was four days before the reservation date, so we couldn't receive it.
Amex Voucher Usage Review
For reference, I was planning to pay with a Hyundai Amex card voucher. In fact, booking through the hotel's official website is the most accurate (on-site payment), but since there was a big price difference with other sites, I called the Haevichi reservation desk to inquire.
I asked if it was possible to use the Amex voucher even if I booked through another site. The answer was, "If on-site payment is possible, you can book through any site!"
So, the lowest price with on-site payment was HotelsCombined, which was about 50,000 KRW more expensive than online card payment, but I booked it to use the voucher.
Baby Amenities Rental Method Review
As mentioned above, I requested a baby crib, bed rail, baby bathtub, and air purifier, but I received a call saying that the baby crib was fully booked on that date. Unfortunately, I was grateful that they provided two bed rails as a basic.
Just in case, I asked if they had a baby chair and nursing cushion, but they didn't have those two items. Instead, I reserved a body pillow for pregnant women as a substitute for the nursing cushion.
Actual Usage Review
Whenever I rented baby supplies at hotels with my baby, what was inconvenient was the long waiting time in the room even after checking in (at least 30-40 minutes, including 5-star hotels). Haevichi Hotel's service was so satisfying.
The reason is! As soon as I checked in, all the requested items were neatly set up.
Bed Rail
Most other hotels only provide one bed rail as a basic, making me wonder if I was supposed to use it or not. Haevichi Hotel provided two as a basic, so I didn't need a baby crib.
Air Purifier (Winia)
Since it was a staycation with a baby, I requested an air purifier due to the dust from the bedding and floor material. I was happy to spend the entire two nights with clean air.
Maternity Body Pillow
And the body pillow for pregnant women that I rented instead of a nursing cushion! I could use it comfortably for breastfeeding or as a lower bed rail.
Baby Bathtub (RayQueen)
The baby bathtub was a brand I saw for the first time, but it was bigger and more comfortable than I expected, so my baby could take a comfortable bath.
Baby Slippers
These are so cute!
I didn't request slippers separately, but on the evening of check-in, a staff member brought extra towels and baby slippers. After receiving them, I wondered if they were meant for another room but came to our room by mistake. Anyway, I took the baby slippers as they were to wear when they get a little bigger. If you are traveling with young children, be sure to request them! They are so cute!
Personal Items to Bring in Addition to Baby Supplies
Nursing cushion (increases luggage…), plate, spoon set

Diapers, wet wipes, baby lotion
Tip:
There is also a way to buy diapers after arriving in Jeju Island. But you have to search for a mart that sells diapers, so it's best to bring essential items in advance!
Things to Note When Using the Haevichi Hotel Swimming Pool
There is a separate pool for infants, and you can enter after wearing waterproof diapers.
Swimsuits, swimming caps, and tubes can be purchased at the hotel, but it is more hygienic to bring personal items.
The sunlight is strong during the daytime (11 am to 3 pm), so baby sunscreen and a hat are essential!
Haevichi Hotel is generally well-cared for family travelers. In particular, the baby amenities rental service is a key point that reduces luggage and makes travel much more relaxing. Setting it up in advance before check-in was truly impressive. It is a highly recommended hotel for those traveling to Jeju Island with a baby.
