Hello everyone!

Today, I'm sharing my review of the Josun Hotel in Jeju, which I visited on my recent trip.

I chose this hotel because it's well-located in the Jungmun area, and I was looking for a relaxing and comfortable place with a resort-like atmosphere!

Here's my review of the Grand Josun Deluxe Twin Garden View room, which many of you are curious about!

Exterior

I checked in during the evening, and the exterior was clean and sophisticated with warm-toned lighting.

The landscaping was well-maintained from the entrance, and the layout made it easy to navigate.

Floor Guide

Information about each floor is displayed in several locations for easy viewing.

It consists of floors 1 through 6 and a rooftop area. Most of the facilities are located on the 1st floor.

Facilities

Information on the operating hours and locations of each facility is available in the guest rooms.

One of the most notable facilities is the swimming pool. There's one indoor pool and two large outdoor pools.

The indoor pool had a family-friendly atmosphere, with many families with children. There was also a machine for inflating and deflating tubes.

Swimming in the outdoor pool while enjoying the night view would be amazing. Unfortunately, I missed the operating hours, so I couldn't swim, but I was able to take some photos since it was empty.

There's also a rooftop pool, but it's an adults-only area. You need to make a reservation on the 1st floor before going up. I'm so sad I couldn't visit it!

The quality of the sauna exceeded my expectations. It had everything you need: towels, body products, shampoo, lotion, toothpaste, and even a spin dryer. You don't need to bring anything extra. There was also a dry sauna, perfect for relaxing.

The gym isn't very big, but it has all the essential equipment. It wasn't crowded, so I could work out in peace.

Inside, there's a lounge & bar. During the day, they serve coffee, tea, and light snacks. In the evening, it transforms into a space where you can enjoy signature cocktails and other drinks while listening to live music.

When I visited, there was a live performance, and the singer had a beautiful voice. It was so relaxing! I recommend checking the schedule and visiting at the right time!

Past the lounge, you'll find Aria on one wall, which is a buffet restaurant.

I know it's famous, but the price was too high for me to justify visiting.

I took photos of the price and hours, so please refer to them.

The lobby is on the 5th floor, which you can access straight from the parking garage.

The moment I entered the hotel, I thought it was clean and luxurious.

The ceilings are high, so it doesn't feel cramped at all. The lighting is soft, creating a calm atmosphere.

There's a subtle, pleasant fragrance, and the background music is classical or soft jazz, which made me feel relaxed.

There's also a CU convenience store on the 5th floor. It's quite large and open 24 hours, so you can go anytime.

Guest Room

I booked two Deluxe Garden View Twin rooms, and they gave us rooms right next to each other.

Each room is about 46 square meters (approx. 500 square feet), which I thought was quite large for a hotel room.

Since it was a twin room, there were two queen-sized beds. The mattresses were so comfortable that I checked the manufacturer. They were custom-made by Simmons. They were plush and supportive, and there were four pillows provided.

The soundproofing was good, so I wasn't bothered by hallway noise or noise from the next room. It was easy to fall asleep peacefully.

Each room has a coffee machine, and there are two coffee capsules provided.

OTT (Over-The-Top) services are included, so it was fun to watch Netflix in the room. (You need to use your personal account!)

You can store bottled water and drinks in the mini-fridge, which made it convenient for snacks and late-night bites.

Each room also has a terrace with chairs and a table, so it was nice to have coffee there in the morning.

However, the view from my room was a bit awkward, as it overlooked the walking path.

There's a separate shower booth and a bathtub, which was great for relaxing. The amenities, towels, and robes were all clean.

The amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, and body lotion) all seemed to be from the Josun Hotel's own brand.

The scent wasn't too strong and had a subtle fragrance that made me feel good.

Here's a TIP!!!

If you scan the QR code in the room and go to Smart Order, you can order additional items.

You might miss it if you don't know about it, but you can order things like body pillows, air purifiers, dehumidifiers, humidifiers, pillows, baby products, etc., which can make your hotel stay more comfortable.

However, quantities are limited, so if you don't reserve quickly, your order might not go through. I failed to get a Tempur pillow and a body pillow...

Cons

1. Disappointing Room View

Although the garden view is quiet and calming, it was a bit awkward being right next to the walking path, and it might be disappointing for those expecting an open ocean view.

2. Lack of Storage Space

There are enough hangers, but the closet is right next to the bed, so the door hits the bed when you open it, which is a bit inconvenient when taking out clothes.

Besides the closet, there's no other storage space, so it would be nice to have more storage for people with a lot of luggage.

Although there were some minor drawbacks, the atmosphere, room condition, and facilities were better than any other hotel I've visited!

It's a bit pricey, but if you want to enjoy a luxurious staycation or add some atmosphere to your trip, I highly recommend it!!
