스테이 연숨

Earlier this year, two close friends got married, and we decided to celebrate with a bridal shower in the heart of Seoul.
Stay Yeonsum(스테이 연숨) Near Gyeongbokgung Station, a quiet hanok stay near Gyeongbokgung Station, offered both privacy and atmosphere despite being located in a busy tourist area.
From thoughtful amenities to a calm, beautifully designed space, the stay felt relaxing and memorable from start to finish.
A Bridal Shower at Stay Yeonsum
Earlier this year, two of my friends tied the knot, and we planned a special bridal shower to celebrate.
We chose Stay Yeonsum as the venue, hoping for a place that felt intimate, calm, and slightly special.
Location and Booking Experience
Stay Yeonsum is conveniently located about a five-minute walk from Gyeongbokgung Station.
Despite the central location, the area felt surprisingly quiet and removed from the crowds.
Comparing Airbnb and Butlerly
We compared booking options between Airbnb and Butlerly before making our decision.
Airbnb was priced at 650,000 KRW, while Butlerly offered a discounted rate of 587,000 KRW with a coupon applied.
The booking process through Butlerly was smooth and straightforward, which made the choice easy.
First Impressions of the Hanok Stay
The moment we stepped inside, the traditional hanok exterior and serene atmosphere were immediately noticeable.
Even though the stay is located in a popular tourist area, the interior felt private and peaceful.
Amenities and Interior Layout
On the first floor, there was a spacious bathroom with a bathtub, perfect for soaking our feet together.
Towels, bath products, slippers, a hairdryer, and even a mosquito net were thoughtfully provided.
Cozy Rooms and Shared Spaces
After climbing three steps, the layout revealed a bathroom behind a white door and a cozy room behind a wooden door.
The room was simple yet comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy a good night’s sleep.
Gathering, Food, and Small Surprises
There was a round table for four, which became the perfect spot for long conversations.
The outdoor landscaping was neatly maintained and ideal for sitting down and talking without distractions.
Projector and Bridal Shower Moments
Next to the shared space were the kitchen and bedroom, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a projector mounted above a blank wall.
Before starting the bridal shower, we enjoyed pastries and tea we brought ourselves.
The cake, designed with a retro vibe, added charm to the celebration.
Relaxation Time Upstairs
The highlight of the bridal shower was undoubtedly the food, though as an expectant mother, I happily stuck to water.
Later, we moved upstairs to enjoy a foot soak with provided bath products.
The exposed ceiling beams added to the beauty of the space, and the moment felt like pure relaxation.
