A Spontaneous Getaway to Jeju: My Stay at the Lotte Hotel Jeju

A Jeju trip without a plan!
As someone who values accommodation the most when traveling, I usually prefer hotels over Airbnbs.
I considered staying at the Shilla Hotel since I'm a Shilla member, but as expected, making a same-day reservation on the weekend wasn't easy...
So, after searching for available rooms, I ended up at the Lotte Hotel Jeju.
Considering I came without doing any research, I was very satisfied with my 2-night, 3-day stay.
The hotel condition was clean, as expected of a 5-star hotel. However, like the Shilla Hotel, it seemed a bit old; I couldn't help but notice a slight worn feeling...
The room I stayed in was a Mountain View Family Deluxe, and it cost around 400,000 KRW per night! Since it was a same-day reservation, I think you can usually book it in the 300,000 KRW range.
There were many families staying at the hotel (actually, now that I think about it, everyone except us seemed to be a family with kids).
Its location in the Jungmun Tourist Complex was very convenient!
The hotel exterior as seen from the main entrance.
The hotel hallway was so pretty.
Need coffee after waking up in the morning?
There's a cafe on the 8th-floor lobby!
Mention 'lake' for a 10% discount.
The lobby was very clean. But strangely, the lobby was on the 8th floor...?
Don't forget, the lobby is on the 8th floor!
From the outside, it almost looks like Guam...?
The building is very pretty!
A cozy but well-equipped Family Deluxe room.
Even though there were two of us, there were actually two beds.
It's a family room, so yeah...
I also liked that the bathroom was very clean.
There's also a refrigerator under the minibar.
The closet for hanging clothes is also clean!
It was my first time at the Lotte Hotel Jeju, but I'm leaving very satisfied with its cleanliness.
