A Review of The White Veil Wedding Hall in Gangnam
14 Seochojungang-ro, 서초1동 Seocho District, Seoul
The White Veil

Starting the Wedding Hall Tour
Hello!
As I began my wedding hall tour focused on cost-effectiveness,
I discovered the renowned wedding hall in Gangnam,
'The White Veil'!
While preparing for my wedding, I learned about this place, famous for its value in Seocho-dong.
It's quite popular, so there weren't many available time slots!
What I Prioritized
When I created my list for the Gangnam wedding hall tour,
I prioritized 'accessibility' and 'food'.
Guests should find it easy to arrive, and I want to hear them say,
"Wow, the food there was really delicious!"
Location and Parking
Location: 3 minutes walk from Exit 4 of Nambu Terminal Station
Parking: ★★★☆☆
Parking tower accommodates about 600 cars
Joy Hospital parking lot accommodates about 400 cars
Food: ★★★★★ (Absolutely recognized)
Ceremony interval: 120 minutes (Very spacious)
For those looking for a wedding hall in Seocho or Gangnam,
the accessibility is truly commendable.
Crazy accessibility, but what about parking?
The White Veil is conveniently located. Just walk straight for 3 minutes from Exit 4 of Nambu Terminal Station.
Even guests who are directionally challenged can't get lost!
There's a reason it's consistently ranked high on the Seocho wedding hall recommendation list.
Parking: 600 spaces in the parking tower + 400 nearby at Joy Hospital,
making a total of 1,000 spaces.
For the heart of Gangnam, that's excellent!
However, considering the typical wait times at parking towers,
I gave it three stars (★★★☆☆).
Wedding Hall Structure
The White Veil has a total of three halls: on the 1st, 3rd, and 4th floors.
This division allows for separate banquet use, which is a big advantage.
1st Floor White Veil Hall
: Bright hall with white & green tones
As the signature hall, it has a bright and cheerful ambiance with a high ceiling.
3rd Floor V Hall
: A darker hall in white & green tones.
However, the lighting is used splendidly, giving it a luxurious feel.
It’s not a tacky darkness, but rather a hotel-like ceremony vibe.
Among the darker halls I saw during my Gangnam tour, it felt the most sophisticated for its price.
4th Floor W Hall
: This one has a dark pink tone,
which might suit those looking for a more lovely ambiance.
Personal Impressions
Originally, my top choice was the 1st Floor White Veil Hall.
It's bright and cheerful, perfect for those who want to feel like the main character!
However, surprisingly, after visiting, I was more impressed with the 3rd Floor V Hall.
One downside of the 1st Floor (just being honest):
As soon as you enter the wedding hall, the lobby begins,
causing a mix of guests attending ceremonies on the 3rd and 4th floors,
which can feel a bit chaotic.
Also, the main restroom on the 1st floor has only 2-3 stalls,
resulting in long wait times.
But! The ability to move between floors via escalators is fantastic.
There's no waiting for elevators, allowing for smooth movement,
making it well-organized among Seoul's cost-effective wedding halls.
Food and Renovation Plans
Food: Renovation planned for August 2026
You know The White Veil is known for its delicious food, right?
Originally famous for its set menu + semi-buffet,
it will change to a full buffet starting from August 2026!
This is great news for couples who prefer buffets!
With a comfortable 120-minute ceremony interval,
guests will be able to enjoy the delicious offerings of this wedding hall.
Final Thoughts
Final Contract: I haven’t signed one yet!
The reasons are twofold.
Firstly, the 'shockingly' low estimate I expected didn't match the reality,
though it is reasonable considering Gangnam's infrastructure.
Secondly, the building's exterior and interior showed slight signs of aging,
giving it an older feel that didn't quite match my preference for a more modern vibe.
However! I highly recommend The White Veil for:
Those seeking a wedding hall near Nambu Terminal with many guests from out of town,
those who want a wedding hall known for its good food,
and couples wanting a spacious 120-minute ceremony interval in Gangnam.
I took detailed notes on the estimates from my consultation at The White Veil,
and if you leave your email in a private message, I’ll send you the organized file!
While preparing for the wedding, saving money is essential
so you can buy one more luxury bag on your honeymoon, right?
Hopefully, my review of the Gangnam wedding hall tour helps those starting their wedding preparations!
