We did our grocery shopping in Gwangju and headed straight to Jirisan Ciel Pension! We checked in on the weekend and stayed in room 102, which cost ₩220,000 for 4 people (standard). It can accommodate up to 5 people.
While the pension is supposedly located in front of a valley, the water right in front is very shallow. It's only deep enough to dip your feet in, so if you want a deeper spot, I recommend driving to another valley.
So, we drove about 5 minutes to a valley where you could cook your own food, which we had booked separately.
First of all, the living room has camping supplies that give it a camping vibe.
The camping chairs are really comfortable...
At night, if you turn off all the lights and leave only the mood lighting on, it looks like this...
Important notices and instructions are written above the gas stove in the kitchen.
It is essential to separate garbage and wash the dishes when you check out.
By the way, the kitchen has a wide variety of tableware, you'll find almost everything you need! Since it is a pet-friendly pension, they even provide bowls and pee pads for dogs.
Each room has a microwave, rice cooker, and basic seasonings such as vinegar, canola oil, salt, and soy sauce!
The refrigerator was large, so it was nice that we could fit a lot of things, but it wasn't very cold, so we had to put things in the freezer later.
It would have been nice if the refrigerator was a little colder.
Outside on the terrace, there is a large, long table with a stone grill and chairs! And there are lights that create a camping atmosphere... The atmosphere was so pretty at night.
When we returned from playing in the water, charcoal was already prepared under the stone grill! Charcoal is available until 11 PM, and after use, you must call the owner to have it removed.

For reference, because it is summer now, a lot of bugs come in.
So, you have to be careful to close the doors well.
This is the bedroom, and there is a bathroom in the bedroom and kitchen area, so there are a total of two bathrooms. There are also two beds and a vanity.
The bathrooms have toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, cleansing foam, and body wash.
You must bring your own toothbrush.
Both hot and cold water worked well, and the bathrooms were clean.
So, we enjoyed a barbecue party... To be honest, the weather was so hot that we almost got cooked along with the meat...
It would be nice to come and grill meat when it's a little colder.
We took pictures with a Polaroid camera that my sister brought with her, and we also took pictures with sparklers! * Surprisingly fun *
It was nice because it was a really nice pension among the Jirisan pensions, but after 11 PM, all the lights were turned off, so it was scary to go outside.
You can't see anything at all... There are no lights on, so it was a little scary every time I went out for a smoke, but it was nice to be able to see so many stars thanks to the lights being turned off!

Except that the refrigerator wasn't very cold, I think I liked everything about the pension! The owner is also friendly, and I liked it so much that I would like to book it again later if I come to Jirisan again.
