National Museum of Korea's Hot Merch: From K-Pop Demon Hunters to Elegant Bookmarks

The National Museum of Korea (NMK) is super popular these days, all thanks to K-Pop Demon Hunters!
Apparently, the lines to get in are so crazy long you need to do an "open run."
It's been all over the news, and it seems the merch is a major reason for the buzz!
I actually visited the museum gift shop a while back, but honestly, nothing really caught my eye.
So, curious about what all the hype was about, I finally discovered the National Museum of Korea's online store.
The most popular item seems to be the tiger badge featured in K-Pop Demon Hunters.
Apparently, you need to make a reservation to get one but luckily, it looks like they'll be available for regular purchase starting next year!
I saw on the news yesterday that the First Lady of Vietnam visited the NMK and bought a royal robe (gonryongpo) beach towel. Jealous!
Besides the tiger badge and the gonryongpo beach towel, the *gat* (traditional Korean hat) bookmark is also incredibly popular.
Must be the power of the "Lion Boyz"!
These days, lots of tourists rent and wear *hanbok* (traditional Korean dress) when visiting places like Gyeongbokgung Palace. And apparently, grim reaper outfits are also trending!
Browsing the website, I ended up buying the *gat* bookmark!
It's so popular that I had to put myself on a waiting list and only succeeded after two notifications.
It arrived packaged like this, and the packaging is so beautiful.
The bookmark comes in three colors: black, green, and pink.
It costs 10,000 won (plus 3,000 won for shipping).
It took about a week from ordering to delivery.
With such high demand, shipping delays are inevitable!
Black is definitely the most popular color; it sells out in a flash.
People are so fast!
This is what it looks like out of the packaging. It's so pretty!
The product itself looks high-quality, and the packaging is delicate and incredibly thoughtful.
That's probably why it's so popular! ^^
K-culture is getting so much attention worldwide. Makes me feel proud!
