We'd like to introduce four Gimhae museums that are conveniently located close to each other,
making them easy to visit in one go, and offer a diverse range of culture and history!

All four are located within a 5-minute drive of each other.
They're close enough to walk, so you can enjoy a museum tour without the burden of long travel times.
Although the museums are nearby, each has its own unique exhibition themes and atmosphere!
You can experience different charms as you visit them one by one.

National Gimhae Museum
The National Gimhae Museum, which first opened in 1998,
is an archeological museum built to promote the history and culture of Gaya.
It offers a variety of exhibitions, educational programs, and hands-on events.
It is also equipped with restoration models and advanced video facilities to help visitors understand the exhibits,
making it easy and fun for anyone to experience Gaya culture.
Museum exhibitions are largely divided into ✔️permanent exhibitions and ✔️special exhibitions.
The permanent exhibition in the main building, "Gaya, a World Heritage Site,"
features artifacts mostly excavated from Gaya historical sites.
It is systematically organized to allow visitors to naturally view the artifacts of the Gaya cultural sphere in chronological order.
The special exhibition hall hosts special exhibitions on various historical and cultural themes, including Gaya,
allowing for a richer viewing experience along with the permanent exhibition.

Daeseong-dong Tomb Museum
The Daeseong-dong Tomb Museum is a museum that exhibits, preserves, researches, educates, and utilizes Gaya cultural heritage
through artifacts and materials excavated from the Daeseong-dong Tomb Complex,
a tomb site of the highest ruling class of Geumgwan Gaya, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
It is a place where you can vividly experience the funeral culture and iron culture of ancient Gaya.
✔️In the permanent exhibition hall, you can see at a glance the models of the Daeseong-dong Tomb Complex and the structure and changes of the tombs,
focusing on artifacts such as pottery, jewelry, and armor directly excavated from the museum.
✔️In the outdoor museum, Tomb No. 29, the first royal tomb in the Daeseong-dong Tomb Complex, and Tomb No. 39, which was installed while destroying it,
are restored and displayed in the state they were excavated, so you can directly see and feel the actual structure and size of the tomb.
The Daeseong-dong Tomb Museum is located right next to the Daeseong-dong Tomb Complex,
After looking at the various artifacts in the museum,
it is a great attraction to be able to directly experience the history and traces of Gaya by looking around the actual tomb complex.

Gimhae Folk Museum
The Gimhae Folk Museum is a museum that opened in 2005 by moving folk artifacts that were on display at the Gimhae Cultural Center.
It preserves and manages various folk artifacts in the Gimhae area,
re-examines traditional folk culture that is gradually disappearing,
and is used as a place for vivid education.
✔️The first floor exhibition hall features various artifacts related to clothing, food, and housing from the late Joseon Dynasty to the modern era,
with the themes of 'Changes and Understanding of Folklore', 'Gimhae's Folk Games', and 'Our Clothing, Food, and Housing'.
✔️The second floor exhibition hall consists of the 'Folk Life Hall' and the 'Life Reproduction Hall',
restoring traditional housing styles
and allowing visitors to get a glimpse into the daily lives of their ancestors.
It presents adults with nostalgia and children with a fun time of folk education.
The Gimhae Folk Museum is located inside Suro Royal Tomb, which was created with the theme of the meeting between King Suro, the founder of the Gaya Dynasty, and Queen Heo.
Suro Royal Tomb is a simple forest path that connects Suro Royal Tomb and the Daeseong-dong Tomb Complex,
and as you walk, you can naturally encounter the two historical sites and feel the history and nature of Gaya together.

Gimhae Hangeul Museum
The Gimhae Hangeul Museum is the first public Hangeul museum in Korea,
built to commemorate the achievements of Hanmoe Lee Yun-jae and Nunmoe Heo Woong, Hangeul scholars from Gimhae,
and to promote the excellence and value of Hangeul culture.
In addition to the commemorative exhibition that contains the lives and achievements of the two scholars who took the lead in Hangeul research and Hangeul dissemination from the Japanese colonial period to after liberation,

'Joseonmal Keun Sajeon', where you can feel the fun of finding words yourself,
a reprint of 'Yongbieocheonga', the first song made in Hangeul,
