A Trip to Boriam Temple and Geumsan Mountain Hut in Namhae

The first parking lot you see when entering Boriam is Parking Lot 1.
However, you have to park here and take a shuttle bus for another 15 minutes to get up to the temple.
So, we waited a bit and went up to Parking Lot 2.
After parking at Parking Lot 2 and buying tickets at the ticket booth, you'll see this amazing view as you walk up. Wow!
It's about a 15-minute walk uphill to almost reach Boriam Temple.
Just go down the stairs, and you're there!
I didn't have sneakers, so I wore flip-flops, but it was manageable. I saw many people wearing flip-flops or slippers.
It's said that Yi Seong-gye (King Taejo) came here to pray.
It's one of the four major temples, and it was magnificent and impressive.
People offer prayers for success in university entrance exams, and it seems like you can pay for other prayers too.
This is the most photographed spot at Boriam Temple! The sea in Namhae is truly breathtaking.
Now that we're here, we have to go to Geumsan Mountain Hut and enjoy a cup of ramen.
I went up in flip-flops, and whew, it was steep! The difficulty level is +1 compared to the path to Boriam Temple.
It gets a little confusing once you go higher up.
Be careful not to stray onto other paths!
Finally, I found Geumsan Mountain Hut, hidden like a treasure in the mountains.
The scenery is so amazing. You absolutely have to come! There's no way you can miss it! Haha
I had ramen, water, and an egg.
The cup ramen just went down so easily!
I saw so many cats in Namhae! So cute!
I cleared Geumsan Mountain Hut and trudged back down.
It's a bit tiring going down! If only I had sneakers...
