A Peaceful Winter Walk Through Naksan Park

This post captures a spontaneous late-night drive to Naksan Park on a snowy winter evening.
From quiet fortress walls covered in snow to playful moments like building a snowman, the night walk felt calm, cinematic, and deeply memorable.
It’s a reminder that even without cafés or plans, winter nights in Seoul can be beautiful in their own way.
A Sudden Drive on a Snowy Night
Hello, this is Kim Bok-sil, someone who dreams of living in a country full of snow.
On a freezing winter night, while I was wrapped in an electric blanket, Min-ki suddenly suggested we go for a drive.
Without much planning, we headed out into the snow.
Snowfall Through Gwanghwamun
As we passed by Gwanghwamun, the falling snow felt especially magical.
The city lights and snowflakes together created a quiet, almost movie-like atmosphere.
Arriving at Naksan Park Fortress Trail
We arrived at the Naksan Park fortress trail and found a free parking area nearby.
The stone walls looked even more beautiful covered in fresh snow.
The silence of the night made everything feel calm and sacred.
Snow, Laughter, and Small Discoveries
Snow came down harder than expected, hitting my face as if answering my wish.
We even built a snowman together. What do you think?
Someone had made a tiny snow sculpture nearby, and I couldn’t resist taking photos.
It looked like six guardian Dolhareubangs protecting Naksan.
Quiet Walk After 11 PM
After 11 PM, going to a café felt awkward, but walking through the quiet park felt just right.
The winding and steep roads made driving a bit scary, especially for beginners, so I don’t recommend it lightly.
Still, sitting in the passenger seat and watching the snow fall made the night unforgettable.
Stay warm, don’t melt away, and have a happy Tuesday.
