A Day at the Seoul Waterworks Museum

August 14th
Walk straight out of Seoul Forest Station, Exit 3.
Wow, it really *is* a forest here!
It's probably like this because it's been so hot and rainy.
Seoul Waterworks Museum
Open Tue-Sun 9 AM - 6 PM, Closed Mondays, Free Admission
This museum is refurbished from Korea's first water supply production facility, Ttukdo Water Purification Plant No. 1, and exhibits artifacts related to waterworks.
One photo led me here.
I saw this building in an introduction to "Places to visit in Seoul."
This is the main building of the Waterworks Museum.
Pretty, right?
Time to get a stamp! ❤️
Second stop:
Slow Sand Filtration Basin
A little eerie...?
I was curious about the outdoor space next to the main building.
I went around to the back and found a water mill.

A well.
A pump experience area.
A public water fountain.
Side of the main building.
There's also a waterfall! ❤️
So this is 'Seoul Forest Trimage Seongsu'!
Where many celebrities live~
Annex.
Water seller photo zone.
The inside is definitely cool, but it was so humid this day that even the inside felt humid.
I found out later that they lowered the AC temperature after seeing me fanning myself.
There's a keychain-making experience zone.
But!!!
There's no U, H, J, or V, so I couldn't even make my nickname or real name, let alone a message, so I gave up. 😔
This is the view you face when you come out of the annex.
Can you see the cat?
Its tail was strange, so I wondered if it was a raccoon.

300-year-old Zelkova tree.
Magnificent! ❤️
Water and Environment Exhibition Hall.
Looking at it now, there was a welcome message for visitors above the entrance.
There's a simple experience corner with stamps and puzzles.
Stamp mission clear!
The gift will be revealed below!
Body moisture measuring device.
I told my friend, and they said, "That's why you sweat so much!"
My friend's smartwatch showed 37.
I hope visitors will think about 'saving water'.
Coming out like this,
You can walk the deck road and connect to the annex and main building.
I visited in reverse order.
The stamp tour gift is:
Choose 1 out of a pencil, pen, or fan. 😍
I got a pen.
Satisfied with the quality of the stamp!
A notable feature of the Waterworks Museum:
They lend out 'drawing kits'!
I just came because it was hot that day,
And also to see the autumn foliage,
I need to borrow a drawing kit and go urban sketching.
It's really nice. ❤️ Waterworks Museum
Trumpet creeper flowers seen while crossing the street.
I notice the flowers that have fallen on the ground.
Not Korean trumpet creeper, but American trumpet creeper.
The color is darker and the flower clusters are smaller.

Recommended! ❤️
