Wild animals are not pets!
Approaching and touching them just because they are cute, or feeding them by hand, is dangerous.
✔️ When encountering wildlife, stop walking and maintain a safe distance.
✔️ Do not run away or turn your back; instead, keep your eyes on the animal and back away slowly.
✔️ Avoid loud noises and use clothing or bags to make yourself appear larger.
✔️ Feeding wildlife is prohibited, and do not attempt to transfer them to rescue centers (except for sick or injured individuals).
✔️ If bitten or scratched, visit a hospital to check for potential infections.
When you encounter a raccoon, follow these guidelines:
Active Year-Round: Found throughout urban areas (parks, rivers, etc.).
When you encounter a badger, follow these guidelines:
Active from March to November: Found at the edges of forests.
