A Space Where Children Learn Hangul Through Play
Hangul Playground Sejong Hall was designed to support communication, creativity, and growth through hands-on experiences.
Families can explore Hangul together, share ideas, and naturally engage with Korean language culture in an interactive setting.
The exhibition emphasizes the flexibility and richness of Hangul, which allows for 11,172 possible character combinations.
Introducing the Malangtongtong Characters

The characters are inspired by Hangul consonants and vowels and include Giyeok Tongtong, Nieun Tongtong, Mieum Tongtong, Siot Tongtong, Ieung Tongtong, Haneul Tongtong, and Ddangddang Tongtong.
Children visiting the playground embark on a journey with these characters to discover the secret key of Malangtongtong Village.

Children can create their own signs using consonant and vowel tools while participating in activities designed to stimulate their senses.
Each experience encourages curiosity and creative thinking while naturally introducing the structure of Hangul.
