The Seoul Museum of Craft Art will hold 'Craft Week 2025: Connect with Craft, Rest with Craft' from November 22nd to 30th, commemorating its 4th anniversary.

During 'Craft Week,' a total of 20 programs will be presented to allow citizens to experience both the 'joy of making' and 'relaxation' through crafts. These include 7 types of 'Close-Up Tours of Artisan Studios,' 9 types of 'Mindfulness Healing Tours,' and special citizen participation events.

'Close-Up Tours of Artisan Studios' offer a special opportunity for citizens to visit craft artists' studios in Seoul and nearby areas, tour the studios with the artists, experience crafts, and interact closely with the artists' creative environments.

The seven programs include: ▴Kim Gi-ho Artisan's Gold Leaf Craft Workshop 'Making Gold Leaf Bookmarks' ▴Kim Seung-hee Artist's Metal Craft Workshop 'Making Swarovski Brooches' ▴Lee Sang-hyup Artist's Metal Craft Workshop 'Tea and Craft with Silver Teapot' ▴Anna Lisa Artist's Glass Craft Workshop 'Making Glass Cups' ▴Park Su-ji Artist's Ceramic Craft Workshop 'Making Tableware' ▴Field Ods Studio's Wood Craft Workshop 'Making Wooden Plates' ▴Muke Studio's Textile Craft (Tufting) Workshop 'Making Table Mats'.

'Mindfulness Healing Tours' are healing programs that combine the sensibilities of crafts with everyday activities, utilizing various spaces and local resources around the museum. It's an opportunity to gain new ways of resting and inspiration from crafts in daily life.

The nine programs consist of: ▴'SeMoCA Running Brunch' with architect Cho Han ▴Tarot Reading 'Craft Emotion Center' ▴Time for purifying the mind through writing 'Craft Book Transcription Room' ▴Instagram-style photo class 'Photo Everyday Life' ▴Mindfulness program in connection with Gilsangsa Temple 'Meditation in Blooming Fragrance' ▴Book talk on creation and inspiration 'Conversation Beyond Craft' ▴Aesthetic experience of drinking time 'Craft Tea Ceremony' ▴Sensibility of ceramics engraved on leather 'Blooming with Buncheong' ▴Craft connecting generations 'Craft for Generations'.

In addition, there are four special events to create memorable moments with citizens: ▴'Challenge! Craft Golden Bell!' to compete in craft knowledge ▴Imagination using amorphous lines 'Drawing Guest Book' ▴Museum revisit recorded with Polaroid 'SeMoCA Revisited' ▴'Pattern Amulet Lucky Box' to fill the heart.

'Craft Week 2025' will be held free of charge for a total of approximately 1,400 people from November 22nd to November 30th. Programs are operated through advance registration and on-site participation, and advance registration can be applied for on a first-come, first-served basis on the Seoul Museum of Craft Art website.
