The 2025 DDP Design Week, in collaboration with 29CM, kicks off on October 15th at Seoul DDP.

An exhibition of 'Seating Seoul,' a project archiving chairs designed in Seoul.
'Seating Seoul' identifies the design trends of modern Seoul by archiving chairs produced in Seoul, where diverse cultures coexist.
It is a platform that connects designers, producers, potential users who can consume chairs, and collectors.
A chair is not just a piece of furniture to sit on, but a special medium that reveals a person's body, life, society, and culture.
This exhibition offers an easy way to experience the senses and design possibilities of Seoul through various chairs containing the thoughts and efforts of designers and creators.
Visitors will have a special experience beyond simply 'seeing' the chairs, newly experiencing the cultural meaning and design creativity of everyday objects.

An exhibition highlighting the creative process of 12 design studios based in Seoul
<Appendix: Practice, Contemplation, Production>
Shares the traces of practice, exploration, and contemplation hidden behind the finished product in an archival format, drawing a practical map of contemporary design culture.
Exhibition <Appendix: Practice, Contemplation, Production> presents the design creativity of Seoul through the studio's work process.
This exhibition views design as a 'process' rather than a finished product, highlighting the experiments and explorations of various creative studios.
Approaches the essence of design through hidden ideas not visualized in the results, changes in materials refined through repetition and trial and error, and attempts at exploration before completion.
The exhibition presents design as an accumulation of constant contemplation, coordination, and judgment, and a dynamic practice of the same era.
It will provide a special archival experience.
In addition, a design market will be held at DDP Palgeori, and Museum Exhibition Hall 2 will introduce/sell unique handmade products by designers and creators.

Discovering Seoul through the Eyes of Designers
Seoul Design Spots is a special project that introduces spaces in Seoul where you can get inspiration, recommended by designers participating in Seoul Design Week.
This year, it will be held more diversely with Seoul Design Festival and lifestyle platform heyPOP, so experience the city from the designer's perspective at hidden design spots throughout Seoul.
