Seoul Botanic Park will host the emotional healing exhibition <At the End of the Year, Comfort from Plants 'Hugging Botanical Garden'> from December 3rd to 14th, with the theme of comfort from plants.

Seoul Botanic Park presents the emotional healing exhibition <At the End of the Year, Comfort from Plants 'Hugging Botanical Garden'> from December 3rd to 14th, interpreting the comfort given by plants through sight, hearing, and smell.

This event is designed to allow visitors to heal their body and mind simultaneously within the botanical garden by expressing the comfort of green plants through 'light, scent, and literature'.

First, in the main hall (B1 floor) of the Plant Culture Center greenhouse entrance, you can experience visual stability through the soft texture and colors of paper under the theme of 'Sight: Garden of Light'. Then, on the 1st floor of the Plant Culture Center, you can spend time in contemplation, such as reading books while listening to the sounds of nature, under the theme of 'Hearing: Garden of Books'.

In addition, in the 'Gardener's Room (Mediterranean Pavilion)' in the Plant Culture Center greenhouse, an exhibition on the theme of 'A Literary Writer's Room Who Loved Gardens' and the launch of 'Scent of Seoul Botanic Park' will be held, creating a healing space that stimulates the senses.

Performances on the theme of mental healing, as well as various educational programs that stimulate the five senses, will also be held.

On December 7th and 14th (2 PM - 2:30 PM), the 'Lin Chamber Ensemble', where artists with and without disabilities work together, will present performances of various instruments such as strings, woodwinds, and brass at the entrance of the Plant Culture Center greenhouse (B1 floor).

At the 'Emotional Book Concert' held on December 6th and 13th (2 PM - 3 PM), Yoon Jung-eun, the author of the bestseller <Marigold Series (Mind Laundry, Mind Photo Studio, Mind Botanical Garden)>, and gardener Kim Jang-hoon, who spreads the beauty of the 'Winter Garden', will share stories about mental healing.

Educational programs include 'Fragrant Botanical Garden' where you can create your own perfume, 'Coloring Plants in Folk Paintings' which contains Korean traditional culture, and 'Making Accessories Using Traditional Knots', allowing you to experience 'K-experience content' that combines fragrance, art, crafts, and gardens.

In particular, Seoul Botanic Park will unveil the scent of nature containing the energy of life, 'Scent of Seoul Botanic Park', for the first time at this event. It is the first signature scent collection of a domestic botanical garden, consisting of 'Room & Fabric Spray' containing lantana and daffodil scents, and 'Guardian Aroma Spray' where you can feel the scent of a refreshing morning forest. The scent of Seoul Botanic Park can be purchased at the gift shop on the 2nd floor of the Plant Culture Center.

Pre-registration for the 'Hugging Botanical Garden' program is available through the Seoul Public Service Reservation website (search for 'Hugging Botanical Garden') from 10 AM on November 25th, and some programs are also available for on-site participation.

Seoul Botanic Park 'Winter Garden'

Meanwhile, during the event period, you can also enjoy the 2025 Winter Special Exhibition <Winter Garden> in the exhibition greenhouse. This exhibition is a special exhibition where you can appreciate various tropical orchids and domestically developed poinsettia varieties in one place, and will continue until January 25th next year.

The special exhibition <Our Nature, Planetary Coexistence> is also continuously operating in Project Hall 2, Magok Culture Center, Theme Garden, and Greenhouse. This exhibition presents a new perspective on viewing nature and provides an 'experience of thinking of nature as one of the members' beyond the boundaries of life and non-life, human and non-human in a space where art and nature coexist.
