Reflections on My Concert Experiences This Year

This post is a personal year-end reflection on a concert-filled year, written gradually between work tasks since November. It captures honest emotions, favorite moments, regrets, and small joys collected from live music experiences.
Rather than numbers or rankings, it focuses on feelings, atmosphere, and memories tied to specific concerts, venues, and people met along the way.
From unexpected shows to deeply memorable stages, this is a record of how concerts became a new source of happiness and connection.
Looking Back on a Year of Concerts
I truly started going to concerts in the second half of the year. I didn’t keep track of the exact number, but it was a lot.
What mattered more than the count was how naturally concerts became part of my routine.
Some days were exhausting, but the anticipation of live music kept everything balanced.
Concerts That Brought the Most Joy
Among festivals, Saple Festival stood out as something I would recommend without hesitation.
Neocon Pulse, Crying Nut, Lego’s performance, and concerts at Children’s Grand Park and Inje all left lasting impressions.
If I had to name one favorite, it would be the 29 Stage concert, which I still revisit through videos.
Moments of Disappointment and Reality
Not every concert was perfect. Some performances were disappointing due to vocal strain or unexpected incidents.
The first concert of the year set a tough tone, and a few later shows left mixed feelings.
Those moments reminded me that live performances are unpredictable, for better or worse.
Missed Chances and Unexpected Visits
There were concerts I wanted to attend but couldn’t due to schedule conflicts.
Giving up early bird tickets was painful, but some choices led to unforgettable experiences elsewhere.
On the other hand, a few concerts happened by chance, making them even more memorable.
Favorite Artists, Sets, and Venues
This year, one artist stood out the most and left a deep impression.
Setlists from certain concerts remain vivid, especially moments when unexpected songs appeared.
As for venues, some introduced me to the charm of live music, while others simply felt comfortable and familiar.
Regrets, Gratitude, and Looking Ahead
I regret the concerts I missed and the times I hesitated for no good reason.
At the same time, concerts brought new joy into my life and helped me meet wonderful people.
My goal for next year is simple: to enjoy every moment without overthinking.
Ending the Year with Anticipation
As the year closes, I’m looking forward to the remaining concerts lined up for December.
The first concert of the new year is already on my mind, and the excitement feels just as strong.
Despite small worries, the joy of live music continues to outweigh everything else.
