Hello!
I saw the announcement for the Paju Frontier FC kickoff ceremony and thought, "I really want to go to this!" So, I signed up right away, and finally attended the ceremony last Saturday.
I’ve always been interested in events and local sports in Paju, but this was my first time participating in an official event as a citizen, so I was quietly excited even before attending.
The kickoff ceremony is a place where the team introduces the players, shares the club's operational direction, and communicates expectations for the season's performance to fans and citizens before starting a new season.
It felt special not just as a simple event, but as a meaningful time where fans and the club stand together at the starting line, looking in the same direction!
The event took place at the Paju Citizens' Hall auditorium!
I arrived on time, and from the entrance, I could see many Paju citizens gathered, making me feel that so many people truly support this team.
What impressed me the most was that the director and players welcomed citizens personally at the entrance and lobby. High-fives with kids and sincere greetings made the atmosphere warm even before the event started.
Once inside the auditorium, I found that each seat had a kickoff ceremony guide and a scarf prepared in advance!
The scarf, featuring a pink and blue emblem, beautifully reflected the identity of Paju Frontier FC, and I was pleasantly surprised by its quality.
Looking around the audience, I saw citizens of all ages attending, and the sight of club officials, cheerleaders, and citizens coming together was impressive.
With laughter and applause flowing naturally, the kickoff ceremony began.
On stage, the introduction of the director and players followed, and I heard about how they are preparing for the season and their mindset for the games.
It wasn't just a simple greeting; the message of being a team that grows with the community resonated deeply, making me proud as a citizen of Paju.
Another memorable moment was the introduction of the supporters' group, Pink Blue, and their cheering song.
Hearing a cheer song that I thought I could only hear at the stadium right there at the kickoff ceremony made me feel like I was already at a game!
I also got to meet Cosmin, the mascot of Paju Frontier FC, and he was incredibly cute.
I encountered a calligraphy phrase embodying the spirit of Paju Frontier FC: "We pioneer, challenge, and move toward the future."
The meaning of the phrase was great, and the strong yet warm handwriting left a lasting impression on me.
I felt that this phrase truly represents the direction of Paju Frontier FC for the season.
After the ceremony ended, the director and players did not leave immediately but instead saw off each citizen in the lobby.
Though it was a brief moment, I could personally convey my support and well wishes for good games, and the players responded with bright smiles and gratitude, making me want to cheer for them even more.
After the event, I enjoyed the coffee and snack truck provided by the supporters' group Pink Blue.
A warm cup of coffee along with churros was a perfect way to prolong the event's afterglow.
Now, the new season is truly starting!
I plan to cheer for Paju Frontier FC by attending the upcoming games at the stadium.
As a citizen of Paju, I sincerely look forward to the success of Paju Frontier FC.
