Welcome to the newly opened cultural space in Jori-eup, Paju!

Peace Museum S827

Hello,

This is Paju Alimi.

The area around Camp House, which was established after the Korean War, has been newly developed!

We are excited to introduce the "Peace Museum S827." This former U.S. military PX building has been transformed into a space dedicated to peace and art.

Location: 124-90 Noejo-ri, Jori-eup, Paju, Gyeonggi-do

Operating Hours: Thursday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Closed on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday)

Current Exhibitions:

- February 27 to April 30: Opening Exhibition "The Light of Peace, The Path to the Future: Together"

- February 27 to March 20: Commemorative Exhibition "Paju Story Picture Exhibition"

The name Peace Museum S827 combines the former U.S. building number 'S827' with a vision for a peace platform and cultural ecological space.

As you explore the museum, you will find traces of the past preserved throughout the interior.

We recommend visiting and taking your time to enjoy the space!

As you enter the vicinity, you can still sense the military atmosphere.

The Camp House site is expected to be developed into a large theme park called Peace Park, making it an even more anticipated space!

Upon entering through the entrance on the left after parking, you will first notice the spacious lobby, which serves not only as an exhibition space but also as a cultural resting area and community space.

The main exhibition is the opening exhibition "The Light of Peace, The Path to the Future: Together," showcasing works from over 40 artists.

We hope you enjoy the mobile catalog we have shared for your viewing experience.

The museum is divided into three main areas: the main exhibition hall, the small exhibition hall, and the local history gallery.

The small exhibition hall features a display of nude fantasy art by artist Jo Eun-young, allowing visitors to appreciate the beauty of the human body.

In the local history gallery, you can explore the "Paju Story Picture Exhibition" and enjoy vibrant illustrations that depict classic tales.

The Peace Museum S827 is a special space where one can reflect on the meaning of peace.

It connects the past, present, and future of peace through exhibitions and stories.

We hope it becomes a meaningful destination for citizens and tourists alike.

If you wish to experience the message of peace up close in Paju, we encourage you to visit!

We look forward to seeing Peace Museum S827 establish itself as a new cultural and peaceful space in Paju!
