Hapcheon Hwangto Hanwoo Festival to Host Food Festa with JW Marriott Hotel Seoul's Tamayura
The 3rd Hapcheon Hwangto Hanwoo Festival will feature a special program: "Hapcheon Hwangto Hanwoo with JW Marriott Hotel Seoul Tamayura Food Festa," scheduled for October 25th.
This food festival will showcase a cooking demonstration by Chef Lee Kyung-jin of JW Marriott Hotel Seoul's Tamayura, who is returning to his hometown of Hapcheon to share his talents. Visitors can look forward to a unique gastronomic experience.
The event will take place twice, at 1 PM and 3 PM, featuring a teppanyaki cooking demonstration using Hapcheon Hwangto Hanwoo and local specialties. Free tasting portions (50 servings each time, for a total of 100 servings) will be offered. Visitors will have the chance to witness a high-end chef's live cooking performance and directly experience the excellent taste of Hapcheon Hwangto Hanwoo.
Chef Lee Kyung-jin shared, "It is meaningful to return to my hometown and promote Hapcheon through my cooking. I hope this event will widely promote the excellence of Hapcheon Hwangto Hanwoo."
Recipe books featuring various dishes that can be made with Hapcheon Hwangto Hanwoo will be produced and distributed at the event, providing easy-to-follow recipes for home cooks, which is expected to be well-received by visitors.
An official from Hapcheon County stated, "We expect Chef Lee Kyung-jin's talent donation to enrich the festival. We will continue to develop various programs to promote the excellence of Hapcheon Hwangto Hanwoo."
Meanwhile, the 3rd Hapcheon Hwangto Hanwoo Festival will be held from October 24th to 26th for three days at the Hapcheon County Citizen's Sports Park lawn. It will feature diverse programs, including the sale of Hapcheon Hwangto Hanwoo and local agricultural products, cultural performances, and hands-on activities, providing a wealth of enjoyment for local residents and tourists.
