Dive into the Ice and Chill Out!
The "2025 Gurye 5-Day Market 8th Om্যাক Festival," designed to revitalize the traditional market in Gurye, Jeollanam-do, will be held on August 23rd (Saturday) in the Gurye-eup 5-Day Market area. Under the slogan 'Dive into the Ice and Chill Out!', this special festival offers a variety of programs to beat the heat and enjoy refreshing beer.
Festival Highlights
Experiential Programs: Starting from 3 PM, fun activities such as Ice Curling Challenge, Photo Booth, Water Gun Fight, Watermelon Eating Contest, and Stamp Tour will kick off the festival.
Performances & Food: From 5 PM, enjoy busking performances and guerrilla events, along with a variety of food and crafts that pair perfectly with beer from youth shops and flea markets.
Refreshing Drinks: 400L of draft beer, equivalent to 800 cups (500cc each), will be available at the festival. You can purchase beer exchange tickets and enjoy up to 4 cups per person. Slushies will be offered for families at 500 KRW per cup.
This Om্যাক Festival will be a place of harmony where merchants, residents, and tourists can all come together to laugh and have fun.
